Nice! Glad to see you on the forum. Someone has not been nice to that E. 🤪
I like the seat colors. Mine has blue inserts like that.

Best of luck to you on the restoration. Advanced Search upper right is your friend.
You most likely are aware of the following yet I will post it anyway just in case...
-Bushings and ball joints. Plan on replacing them. At 104K miles and 20 years they are most likely shot.
-Fuel pumps and filter/regulator. Lord knows I've posted on that subject enough. ~$1000 for new fuel pumps, filter/regulator, and fuel tank o-rings. Perform the upgrade to the 70-amp relay sooner rather than later. Fuel pump relay (stock 40-amp that melts) is located passenger side rear under the paneling. Your S211 E55 has a wiring harness very different from the non-AMG E-models.
-If you decide to replace the seat covers, GAHH.com out of California is the place to go. ~$2000 for the front seat covers plus the cost to pull the old covers and install the new ones. Expensive but very nice leather.
-Plan on what you wish to do when one of the Airmatic springs/struts fails. Arnott is cheaper but is less capable. Personally, I would never go coil overs on this car.
-Interior plastic parts. Get thee to the dealer parts tech ASAP and order any parts you think you may need. After 20 years, the parts bin is getting thin. I'm finding parts quantities in the USA such as "8", "4", "14", "2", and buying them up for my car two at a time. I did pass on the last two pieces located in Germany at $440 each. I can reproduce those myself for a quarter of the price.

Charm.li for the Workshop Information System (WIS). 1.2GB .zip file so you may need an aftermarket download manager in Win10 or Win11 to download the .zip file. All of the technical instructions you need to work on your car.

Nemigaparts.com for the parts list for your car. Really helps when searching the Internet for the oddball parts you need. Ebay often has new "old" stock from the Baltic Republics. I've scored very well from there.

PM me your email address and I can email you about 30 MB of tech data on your car. Examples attached.

Best to you and post your progress!

Also, purchase a fuel rail pulsation damper now and put on your shelf for future use. This past summer I purchased the last two in Texas. At that time there were only four remaining in the United States and all four were in New Jersey.
