I personally like the 2nd ones. Are you tired of HRE's? Should get another set!

Sorry I didn't answer your question. I prefer #1 if the choice is between those two.

If the choice is between #1 and #2, I vote #1, as well. Normally, I like a double five-spoke pattern like the HRE 547R's because they show a less obstructed view of the AMG calipers and ventilated discs.

In this case, #2 is just too "flat" looking for my taste - nothing exciting going on there. The #1 pic looks 10X better IMO - good luck with your decision!

The one and only reason I will not go with 547's is because every other W211 E55 has them. I don't want to be just another E55er with 547's.

On a different note, I have decided...and it's neither of the two that I posted...If you want to know, you will have to wait and see...

The Superleggera 3's (#1) are forged- had them on my M5 but they still weigh in over 25lbs. The Galileo 3's (#2) are heavier and I think they are cast. I would take S3's if these are your only options, they look nice in silver (I had gunmetal) and are well made. I think someone on this site has those wheels on the E55 but the lip may not be that big in the rear.

Since you are off the HRE bandwagon have you heard of these wheels? (see pics) They are called Angstrom and they are forged and superlight- I think Brav has them on his W211 and they look great. I thought about these for the C55 I almost got but once I got the 996TT it was Sportec Forged all the way. Yeah I know they look like HRE's but they are actually lighter according to Eric at Supreme Power Parts. Pics of Brav's car:

Here are the models:

Hey Vic, I have personally seen these and heard of these rims. Thanks for the suggestion but I have come to a decision. It is not Oz's, but something else.
