From one e55 to another
From one e55 to another
Well the car should be here in 2 weeks, i had been waiting for 3 months due to a month delay in production but I won't be taking delivery. It's Flint grey, black wood, Lighting package and disk changer.
Reason for not taking it is that today, I came across a 2005 black on black at Caliber Motors in Anaheim. It has lighting package, parktronic, tire pressure monitor, navigation, rear window shade, disc changer, trunk closer and factory chromed wheels and I couldn't pass the deal up. It's technically a used car, but the owner had it for less than a month and put less than 200 miles on it.
Reason for switching cars is that for the less optioned one, Fletcher Jones Las Vegas was going to be about 100 dollars more a month than a new almost fully loaded one. The finance people at FJ were unwilling to work with me in any way to get a better deal and couldnt understand why I wasnt willing to pay more per month for the less optioned car I had ordered through them. Even though my new e55 is considered used, the last NEW car I bought had more miles then this benz, so to me it's still new. Well in the end, more car for less money. It makes me happy.
Here are a couple pic's from the dealership.

Less than 200 miles? Just think of it as barely broken-in, instread of used. At the Mercedes House of Imports in Anaheim, they sell all their AMG cars as used even with 10 miles on it. Congrats!!!!
Nice deal. Congrats. Isn't spur-of-the-moment grand? Love black, my choice (obsidian).
How do you like the chrome wheels? Could you post a few more pics showing more of the wheels? Not sure I'm feeling them enough with the pics you posted, but I'm awfully curious.

I have no idea where my digitial camera is lol maybe lost, so once i find it i will take some more pics. for now, all I have are a few off the dealer website. Not sure their guy taken the pics did a great job whith these but they work.
btw: eagleeye, I plan on going to HRE's in the future so the chrome is not that big a deal just something a little different for now

adx thanks for the compliment. I unfortunatley am not able to go to the meet this weekend, I would have loved to but I'll just have to wait till next time. We need to have a Vegas AMG meet, lol keep it local
and keep my miles down.

You scored! You must have paid less than MSRP for your "used" '05. FJ and Barrier Motors in Bellevue, WA love to sell "used" E55 with ~20 miles on them because they can jack up the price $20k over MSRP. Check out MBUSA pre-owned and you'll see what I mean. They are the two highest priced dealers in the US.

$1,000 dollar deposit that I get back. My guess is they will contact people that have their names in for e55's and give them first choice, I doubt it will take long to sell since they haven't had one in for about 2 months and won't another after this for a little bit of time.
