Believe that's none other than DocStone's awesome ride. See: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/95279-evosport-did-great-job-lowering-e55.html

explain how you had your car lowered without the "module" that all of the big names sell. Thanks.

ben at (name deleted, pm if interested) has what are called lowering links (oe german mercedes parts). basically the same link the car has to lower or raise the car but instead of being fixed it is adjustable with a locking nut. he sold me 4 but my mechanic only needed 2 for the front and adjusted the rear sway bar adjusting point for the suspension. the cost is $125 a piece for the 2 and 3 hours installation. # is (delted, pm if interested). its adjustable by sliding the link then re-tightening the link with the adjustable locking nut on the front links then adjusting the rear to accomodate. ive had for about 300 miles and not bottomed out or anything. if you need to cross a spped bump just hit the suspension up button.

that's a good way to lower your car w/out spending the big bucks. Peter, will this void the warranty?

w211's lowewring links are completely different than those. as far as warranty goes if you think about it the only thing that is going on is the bag is not inflating as much. the rear adjustment is just an adjustment. i guess if you have a jerk dealer??? btw, when i took my car in to have the wood trim removed i showed the service manager under my hood at all the evo pieces and the polished plenums and he really liked it.
