We'll be flying into Homestead General Avaition on Thursday for the AMG Challenge on Friday. Any suggestions on where to stay close by?

Doesn't say on the website. Call the 800 number to be sure. My guess is at least 18 (legal capacity to release track and AMG).

Chappy, I flew down to Miami last year to do the event at Homestead and for the life of me can't remember where I stayed. There's a main road right near the track where there's one fast food place after another with a buch of the chain hotels. Go to Homestead's homepage and you should find local lodging. No offense to anyone who may live in Homestead, but what a dump. Now, I only went from the hotel to the track and then back to Miami to fly home, but jeez... I'm sure there are nicer places, but I didn't see any. thougt I was in a different country. Again, sorry to anyone who lives there as I'm sure that particular area (just like most other parts of the country) is not it's best representation.

Have fun on the long straightaway and the big bank!!

Snipped from the website FAQ:

"You both must be at least 21 years old and each have a valid driver's license to participate."

Hope this helps

You guys are going to have a blast. Make sure you drive all the vehicles, especially the CLS55 and SLK55. BTW, make sure you talk to the VP of AMG North America regarding the new engine lines coming, specifically the 6.3TT.
