I drive a E55T, SLK55 and 65 Mustang Conv.
I signed Wolf up earlier this afternoon for the 4/20 one at the Speedway in Fontana. Anyone else going to be there? It was $1195. I wish I could go too but oh well.

See you at Limerock, CT on 8/15!
Thanks for the link! I was on the waiting list last year...
Now I'm in...
Anyone else going to Limerock, CT on 8/15? Any local hotel recommendations?

I knew someone here would get advance notice. Thanks. Do you think they will have any of the 65 series AMG cars to drive? That would be awesome if they did.

The vehicle list from the web site:
"You'll have the opportunity to drive several cars in the current Mercedes-Benz AMG line-up, including:
• CLK55 • E55
• SLK55 • CL55
• S55 • SL55
• CLS55 • C55 "
CLS should be interesting!
I wish they have more dates.

I am all signed up for Limerock on the 15th. Can't wait. Do you think it is worth doing the Graduate event as well on the 17th?

Just signed up for the Graduate program at Lime Rock. Might also do the challenge again the day before and make it a 2 day event
The video on the site was from last year's event in Miami. I was there but didn't see myself. Miami was a great venue as you could go as fast as your skills would let you. From talking to some who went to Pocono last year, they did not really let you use the full straightaway. Hope Lime Rock is set up so we have the straightaway.
Eddie, you in? (i'll see you tomorrow)

I just called the toll free number on the web page to register for Lime Rock on the 15th. They told me to wait a week for my invitation and then call back. WTF? If I get shut out, I am going to be extremely p.o'd

The Graduate program should be a blast! I'm not sure if I'm in for Lime Rock or Homestead. Can any of you guys comment on one track versus the other?
FWIW, I went to the AMG Challenge at Pocono last year.
Jeff- Thanks for the heads up!!

No, I did not. I didn't want to cause any problems for whoever "AMG222" might be.
Just registered online. See you guys on the 15th at Lime Rock!!!

I'm glad you guys got signed up. AMG222 was a generic (???) invite code that I was given by a dealer last year - I just tried it again this year and it worked. I wasn't under the impression that it belonged to any particular individual. I've been monitoring that mbevents link every day for the past month.
cte430 - I'm doing the graduate course at Limerock on the 17th.
Vic - Autocross rules! Glad you're going to Lime Rock.
Pocono 2004 - what we had was the road course and using part of the main track straight. It was good for practicing a variety of apex conditions but you're right, speeds were limited by the length of the straight before turning back onto the road course. With that configuration, you also can't put a car into a wall, either. Driving the SL55, I was able to get to about 105-110 before braking at around cone II or III - got a little better and harder on the brakes with practice. We had one driver claim 118 on the straight
Here are a few pics (not mine) from Pocono 2004:
