seeking comments on Active multicontour seat / dynamic seat as it is an option on HK based E63 AMG W212. Can anyone share bad or good comments about them pls?

when I test drove the 2010 e63 I really liked it. It was neat how the seats when get snug when cornering, and then let up when straight. I drove a 2008 e63 over the weekend and wished they had the active seats, although they were still very comfortable

That sounds pretty high. Perhaps you are overseas where taxes make these options cost a lot more. If you look at the attachment in this thread, the price quoted by Mercedes is much less:

Personally, I kinda like the dynamic seats. I think they are improved over the previous version in the W211 E55. They give you side support when you need it in the curves. I also kinda like the ventilated seats...they pull hot air away from your backside on hot days (I feel sorry for the backseat passengers!)

However...I do not think these options are worth $7600 US.

I never use it. I forgot it was there until my dog stepped on the button and turned it on the other day. Ventilated seats feel great though.

It was one of the reason I bought the car. Coming out a Porsche, I thought the multifunction was really nice. Worth $7,600, maybe not.
