2010 E63 Pricing
#27
I drove from Gainesville to Ft Walton Beach to pick up mine, they gave me the best deal at the end of last month. They may be giving better deals now. Not sure if your willing to drive that far but if you are I'll give you the name of the sales guy I worked with. Did the entire deal by phone/email no surprises when I got there to pick up the car. I had a very good buying experience.

If I could find $25K off MSRP, I'd buy. But I've been talking to dealers here in the Bay Area and they won't go below $5-6K off MSRP. So I'm very skeptical that anyone is getting $25K off MSRP. I just don't believe it.

You can do it. You just need to make sure the dealer already sold an AMG for the month.

I'm new on this forum and don't know the rules about discussing dealers but I will say there is at least one dealer in NorCal which advertizes on its home page a 39 month lease for $899 for the E63. So I'm not sure that $1099 is such a great deal but of course it depends on the options etc as well as other things.

Anyone done this before? Organized a group car purchase?

If this is true, it should be fairly straightforward to organize a group purchase (where "group" is defined to be at least 2 people) from one of the Ca dealers, as there are many of them with multiple E63s on their lot.

Anyone in California interested in a E63 group buy?

But on the surface it is a cheaper sticker car than the MB factory lease "promo" going on and it looks like more money down.

Looking to buy a 2010 or 2011 E63. I live in Southern California. Anyone know of any recent pricing deals? The $25k off for the group buy in July is great, any similar deals? Thanks.

Other than that you will pay closer to MSRP on a 2011 depending on region, dealer inventory, desire to move units, etc. It is the best time to buy an MBZ outside of special factory to dealer trunk money though.

I'm still looking. I know that a local MB dealer in Southern California was offered Peter and others on this board $23k-$25k off back in July 2010 when there was "trunk money." With the TT around the corner, you would think that the naturally asp 6.3 will fall in price. I love the sound of the 6.3 over any TT so I am a buyer if I can get a 2010 or 2011 E63 for a great price. Maybe we need a group buy? I will post if I find anything of interest and hope all would do likewise.

MB So Cal dealer gave me a written price quote of $10,000 off MSRP for a $97k 2011 E63 AMG. I told him I am in the market for a $25k MSRP. He didn't laugh since he knows it happened with Peter and others in July 2010. He did say there is less in inventory, supply/demand, yadda yadda yadda. I said 2012 TT coming in late Summer or early Fall so the 2011 prices should drop. He generally agreed, but doesn't know how much the drop will be yet.

So timing, allocation, model year, factory strategy all took place; a completely different set of parameters for purchasing the car. Asking for 25k off on a 2011 is probably far to rich for any dealer currently. Why would they sell a car for 25k off or basically 18k (gross of holdback) back of cost when they easily sell it for 5k back or maybe even at cost in todays current allocated market.
It doesnt hurt though to ask

You are right, I doubt the truck money will be there but the 2012s entering the market will drive the 2010 and 2011 E63 prices down substantially . . . . at least that is what happened when the E55 when the E63 came out in the W211 model. Hope springs eternal so only time will tell.
