2010 E63 Pricing
#51
I completely agree. I am hoping for decent pricing on new or perhaps consider lightly used (in the low 60s) once TT is released. Perhaps we can use this thread to keep each other informed of our progress with negotiations and trunk money (if ever).
I'm still looking. I know that a local MB dealer in Southern California was offered Peter and others on this board $23k-$25k off back in July 2010 when there was "trunk money." With the TT around the corner, you would think that the naturally asp 6.3 will fall in price. I love the sound of the 6.3 over any TT so I am a buyer if I can get a 2010 or 2011 E63 for a great price. Maybe we need a group buy? I will post if I find anything of interest and hope all would do likewise.

You are right, I doubt the truck money will be there but the 2012s entering the market will drive the 2010 and 2011 E63 prices down substantially . . . . at least that is what happened when the E55 when the E63 came out in the W211 model. Hope springs eternal so only time will tell.

I'm also in the market for a lightly used 2010 or new 2011, Not really too concerned on the tt motor as this car will remain predominantly stock in terms of performance, maybe just a rim/suspension package. This thread is very helpful, my search begins.

thanks vic
spoke to my dealer today and they did verify all the deals they had on these cars last summer. Had a black on black in stock on 19's which is what i like, but even he told me they are not worth purchasing new, although he would take about 5-6k off msrp. leasing is obviously better. Gonna look for a used under 10k miles and take it from there.

Check out Long Beach. It's further than our closer dealer (where you live) but a much more pleasant shopping experience. Got a great deal on a 2011 lease and offered us a fair amount on our trade-in.

I love mine still (all 9 months LOL) but I have to admit the new E63 TT is tempting me or the F10 M5. But neither of those have me salivating like the Panamera TT. It really has grown on me.
Im gonna do the post cat removal tomorrow so I can get more sound and enjoy my car's new bark. That should hold me over for a few months

Just starting to look in Southern Cal
MB So Cal dealer gave me a written price quote of $10,000 off MSRP for a $97k 2011 E63 AMG. I told him I am in the market for a $25k MSRP. He didn't laugh since he knows it happened with Peter and others in July 2010. He did say there is less in inventory, supply/demand, yadda yadda yadda. I said 2012 TT coming in late Summer or early Fall so the 2011 prices should drop. He generally agreed, but doesn't know how much the drop will be yet.
Thanks, Gene
