Wheel fitment question...please help
HRE 547R wheels
9x19 front
10x19 rear
et35 offsets, front and rear.
Thank you!!

20x9 et 29
20x10 et 39
Your fronts will be slightly in but not an issue and the rears will be oooooooooooo so close. My fitment is spot on with 295's but I think with 285's you will be fine. I have maybe 2mm of room between fender and tire when tucked on an inclined driveway. And all this above is based on a pretty good drop. If you are not dropped you will be good all day.
I think you will be fine with the following tires:
255x35x19
285x30x19 or 275x30x19
you will need a more rounded tire therefore no PS2's--- a Toyo or Nitto Invo should suffice.

So what if I use spacers to make the fit better? Are we sure they will fit if the car is not lowered even without spacers? I know these rims fit right on a W211 E63 with no issues. Or so I am told. Should I call someone at HRE to confirm?
Problem is, I do not want to buy the wheels and order tires and then spend over $4500 and realize they dont work. That would be horrible!

Spacers will not work here (rear) as that will push the offset down or make the wheels stick out more. You can use a 5mm spacer in the front to get a more flush fitment. I run et 29 up front and its pretty good although I might have 5mm more to push. I know you are good in front with the et 35 as that is conservative and our W212 front fenders hang out far but the 35 rear is close. I run et 39 but with a 295 tire on a 20 as I posted and am pretty low. I think you will be fine with a 275x30x19 tire.
If they fit the W211 you should be good since the 212 is a little more aggressive.
Ill send an email to the National Sales Director at HRE now and lets see what he says.

I am also looking into HRE P47 and BBS LMs. Any one have any pics with BBS LMs or the HRE on a W212 E-class? Id probably go with 19 in since roads in Boston are pretty bad in some areas I drive

I love the P4x's but for Benz they are way too heavy. Its actually called an M4x and the HRE beefed up the wheel to account for the load requirements that MBZ demands.
EG:
M47 in 20x9 and 20x10 weighs about 30lbs each.... ouch!!!
My 19x8.5 and 19x11 997TT P40's weigh 21 and 24 lbs respectively.
My C97's in 20x9 and 20x10 weight about 22lbs each.
For looks the M47 and M40 are amazing wheels but in MBZ fitments they are just too heavy IMHO.

I am more concerned about the brakes hitting.

The P47 was what I was leaning towards. I think I am going to forget about the 547Rs - cant chance it not working and cant do a test fit since the wheels are in Florida (I am in MA).
More research before I decide what to go with I guess!
E55 - Will you have to get the car aligned when you go to the 19's. I think i see 18's on your car now.
Thx

The HRE Monos are heavier due to load and the forging process that is carried with that wheel. Once you go to a comp or 97 series (79x or 89x as well) the forging process changes and the wheels are able to handle the heavier load and keep a light weight. I was going to get 790r's at one point and Guy told me they weigh about 25 lbs... if you want a big lip the 7 series or 8 series is the way to go. I got about a 2 inch front and 3.5 inch lip in the rear and am quite pleased.
FYI there is the 56x series too which weighs around 25 lbs and they are cheaper. A little less detail on the face cuts and spokes as they come from a more bulk cutter but this inturn lowers your cost immensely and you still get HRE quality. I like the 563rs myself.
