2012 V8TT Gas Guzzler Tax?
I know there isn't much info out there but I am curious if 2012 model will not be subject to gas guzzler tax?

I was told the gas guzzler tax won't apply to 2012 TT version.

I don't see how it couldn't.....
the efficient engines are only in Europe I think.....

who mentioned that??? A dealer? LOL.......

No, it was not a dealer; otherwise, I wouldn't have quoted the information.

Nerverthless, whoever mentioned that turned out was wrong......I just realized that the Gas Guzzler tax is $1000 for 2011 CL63 which has TT version.

2024 C8 Z06- 2025 BMW CS- 2022 Porsche 992 GTS
The new turbo engines are 25% more efficient than the M156 NA engines. I just built my own CLS63 (5.5TT) and there is NO gas tax. So its safe to assume no gas tax on the E as well. The CL might hit the tax due to the weight and reduction in MPG.

I don't see how the E63 wouldn't be exempt.

Beat me to the punch, but, yes...2012 CLS63 doesn't have the GG tax and my best guess is that the E63 will not either.
