My e63 19" wheels need new tires. Please give some advice
I know this has been covered but i need some input here.
I have a 2010 e63 with around 12,000 miles on it. I drive the car very causally with not too many peel outs.
I noticed that my rear tires are almost bald but my fronts have like 40 percent life left.
My current 19's are equipped with pirellis. I love the traction from the pirellis but i dont like that they take very long to heat up and i feel like they ride very hard.
Tire rack has a few options for replacements and I was thinking of already changing my fronts to have a matching set.
QUESTION:
Should i replace all four tires and get a different brand, if so what kind should i get? (hankook, bridgestone, Michelin, dunlop, continental)
or
Should i just replace the rear with a set of new pirellis and ride out the front?
and
I live in NY which has rough winters, apparently continental and Michelin make
Ultra High Performance / all season tires? what do you think?

Conti DW ride nicer? How do they feel compared to stock? And how are these in the cold weather. Apparently the side walls are very soft on the dw, making them prone to bubbles.

What I use in the summer:

I use summer tires on a dedicated set of AMG wheels for the summer and snow flake rated winter tires in the winter on their own AMG wheels. I have a G500 but I drive my CL on good weather days in the winter. I avoid snow but I like to be able to stop on black ice.
Optimally you want to run the same tire model with the same born on dates. Hankook has or had a deal With a rebate for 4 tires. IM sure there is someone who needs some Pirelli fronts, perhaps because of a puncture or ?
Your Mb dealer may not want to install the Hankook V12s or whatever you choose. After they are installed have the shop give you a thorough alignment printout. Take it to Mb and have them do the alignment rear first.

My friend just got the hankook ventus on his M6 and says they perform great.
The continental DW tires seem amazing as well.
Im not sure which to go with . I have winter use vehicle but sometimes take my e63 out. I have no need for a winter set, how do these hold up in cold weather?

Summer tires are hockey pucks below 40F.
My caveats above still stand. Tires are arguably the most important part of your car.

Same goes with Continental DW tires.
If you don't mind spending the extra cash then I would go with the Michellin Super Sport's.
