new TTV8 E63 at Beshoff in SJ

I have to say i really dig the look of the new E63 W212 - I was in the dealership working out the logistics on a GL for the wife and right in the middle of dealership is a gorgeous new Silver E63 with Ash int - fit and finish is top notch - was able to just sit in the car for a little to look it all over and the MB AMG team has done a great job - no stick on it - was looks best is the new AMG wheels and big red brakes - sits just right (can always go a little lower) - can't wait to see some on the road and get perhaps a lil seat time -

Sitting there - it just felt right - told the wife when i got home that a 212 wagon is in our future -

Slightly off topic, but a GL....what's wrong with the 2010 Qx56? Also, is that the all new one or is that 2011?

But yes the new 5.5TT E63 is an amazing ride with all the goodies added.

Ha Jim you funny--- I love to buy my cars new but I can see your plan of attack...

Anyways this car is going to be amazing... I just got the CLS63TT and the engine mated with the MCT is quite incredible. It seems (based on some members dynos) and feels (my experience) that MBZ has again been a bit conservative in their power numbers. If the car has the red calipers it has the performance package which gets you 550 hp (conservative) and 590 tq.

new QX came out in 2011 -

nothing wrong the QX at atll - we love it but it is freakin HUGE and can't seem to get over 14mpg even on the freeway - also we just moved into an older home (circa 1941) and my wife is adamant about getting both cars in the garage (won't fit) - the QX is 210 inches long vs GL at 200 - and she is a benz girl so have to keep her happy - and we should be leasing anyways as we seem to get new cars every 2-3 years with the exception of the E - can't let it go -

My current ML was leased to a dealership owners wife. The car sat in the garage most of the time and got all the best treatment. I am trying to convince the owner she needs an E63 Bi Turbo and I need to know in advance the day it comes off lease

Ok so I dragged my lazy **** over to the CLS thread and saw your pics. Nice pick up. I love black but I know how much work it is ( I'm so **** about swirling) but you can't lose. NOTHING beats the slick look of a polished black car at night. congrats again, but what's taking so long on the mods???

Ha just saw this thread... yep I went black and thankfully MBZ nano paint is pretty good in swirl resistance. I do get my cars washed/detailed each week so this car will get the good love. Plus I wont drive it each week since I have the other rides too.

As for mods, lowering it right is my perogative and while I could go with Brabus or H and R springs up front, I have chosen the KW sleeved coilover system which just came out. Its the best option IMHO for a drop and keeping the handling intact. Its about 1-2 weeks out and ordered from Germany so maybe 2 weeks from now the car will be dropped. I just also ordered HRE Wheels today but they will take a little while to make since HRE has almost 60 cars at SEMA this year. Im looking at early November for the wheels. Im gonna paint the side markers next week and get the resonator removed for some increased sound. Then when I hit 1k miles Ill do the tune to get this car really rocking.

Keep for now... Its my only NA car that I enjoy and I love the white sedan with the black wheels and Pano roof. Ill hold it more than likely thru the middle of next year when I would consider an F10 M5...

I was at Beshoff in late september to order my '12 e63 and i also saw the e63, that thing is sick! carbon lip in the back looked a little weird against the silver, but it all looked awesome and that car is actually going to the owner of the dealership!
