Finally, i pulled the trigger....
Ended up with Silver iridium, even though u all know i said i wouldnt go for silver
so briefly, i wanted something greyish or blue, so i was thinking about steel grey, and one dealer i got in touch with yesterday said he had a designo graphite with PP, LSD, bells and whistles, and a Steel grey with just the 5 spoke wheels and 993 package, for like 14K less, (mid 90s)
so i told him i would come down today and that way i could check out the 2 cars side by side, and drive them, and see if the PP is really worth it etc etc
And even drive a 2011 again, just in case i still want to go with that engine.
SO when i get there, ofcourse the designo car is gone, sold , who knows,
I know a different dealer i had been in touch with also, knew about that car. dont know if he nabbed it....
Anyways that left me with goin black( nope), steel grey, or ofcourse Silver
the2011s, were artic or black, i drove it for ****s and giggles, but i didnt want either color. It sounds great though
I ended up with silver, premium black leather, 10 spoke wheels which i liked better, carbon spoiler and interior trim, NO PANO, active lane track/distronic, and parktronic, and Yes , i got the PP
This PP better be worth it, i still dont know if i can really sense a difference, even with the suspension, but hell, the steering wheel is awesome. Love it
Silver looks great, i do love it, but i just didnt want to order a car and wait forever, so i just went for it, hopefully all will be well,
No i need to follow those breakin rules, even though ive already driven above 85 and downshifted in S+
anyways, pics later
thanks all

Iridium Silver--Yes!!! No Pano--YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! I'm sure you will love it.
So what year is it? Hopefully it has an LSD!

Whew- peace at last. Where did you end up going? Laguna?
And take it from someone hasnt just driven PP and non PP cars but someone who owns them- there is a clear difference. I drive my cars hard daily pushing the limits in high speed turns, high speed straights (140mph daily in Mex), and sharp turns... the PP suspension is awesome if you have the roads to compliment it. And there are vids of Non PP vs PP's and the PP is about 2 car lengths ahead.

I've got the toll roads close by and the goshdamn Chp mother f's
What's done is done. I'm happy. I knew that I couldn't. Be so picky if I wanted a car now. And I did. I would have been happy with the non active lane track package. But I got the fancy one. Hopefully it will all pay off
Vic there is a lunar blue wagon with pp ash interior at Laguna. Its nice
We need to do an e63 so Cal meet soon

Somewhere in Denver

i did not know the E63 came in red... interesting. I love red on my wife's C300, but not on the E63.
Your car is a beaut.
and yea... stay below 85 and 4500 RPM during break in is impossible.

I went from wanting to trade my C for a C55 to a w211 e63 to NA w212 used 63 to new NA 63 then to the new engine And
then to the PP version. In a span of 3 months
Next week I'd probaby end up with a sls
Now I need to find something I can trade my 2006 denali fir which can still handle three car seats across

Hmm, still not there in either places. Either that or this computer is not working--but this is a new computer I'm using...
