E63TT Exhaust vs. CLS63TT Exhaust- Pics
Ok took the wagon to get the resonators removed yesterday because I just love the sound of my CLSTT without them and I noticed some differences.

Below is a pic (first pic) of the E63TT set up--- it appears to have a post cat set up followed by the resonator. I only removed the resonator and the sound now mirrors the CLSTT. But I ask and post because the CLS does not have the post cat set up???

So would removing the post cat on the E63TT create even more sound? What about power? I would think sound for sure- not sure about power.




And here is my CLSTT set up prior to the resonator delete---- no post cats....

Vik did you remove your resonator for your 2010 as well? Just wondering if I can do it for my 2011?

did u replace those parts with just straight pipes

can u post some more vids of the sound of the 2 new cars side by side if possible

I did and you should do the same- on the NA 63 the optimal sound for the buck set up is removal of the post cats and resonator.

i think you the difference is due to the type of model.

E63 Wagon is probably tuned for a slightly quieter exhaust compared to the CLS63..

Those seem like very small CATs, I'm thinking its just additional sound filters.

It's too bad those parts can only be removed and put back on by cutting and welding.

Not a big deal at all... my guy's welds are amazing. Im not trying to hide anything from the dealer so for me- no biggie.

Who cares, its the same exact car LOL- the 18's look no different (thats why I said here is what it looks like)- never seen soo much want for a stock car

And I dont know that quote but you are right, its my wagon.

I just havent taken any and to be honest, I dont take pics. I just drive em real fast
