so when i went to the dealer i got my car from a month ago, i went for this car




designo graphite, lsd, PP, non pano, 997, door sills

but when i got there, they said it was gone, sold and no longer available

so i ended up with a silver car, with alot of the same options

i am and was obviously happy with my car, but i always kinda wondered how that other car disappeared even though i was conversing with my sales rep the day before that i was coming to see the graphite car

so i was wondering through the dealership today and low and behold
there was the car i was looking for a month ago

its the same car im sure of it because it never disappeared off their website, and mine did after i purchased it,
anyways, its a nice car, someone should get it, very unique

craziness yesterday

going from 55 to 5 south and went across 3 lanes at 9o to get in to the carpool lane, and suddenly there was a black and white behind me...he was in the center shoulder and then started to make chase
i was like ****....thinking do i exit the carpool lane to pull over or into the center with all that debris

well he actually wasnt after me at all, a crotchrocket had already sped by him doing 120
i was relieved, and was pretty shocked that he had caught the bike, but then i noticed the chopper above....no one gets away from the ghetto bird

I dunno, in my younger years we used to do a lot of street racing and I know some folks who got away from the ghetto bird. It is like the old saying "you can't outrun the Motorola" but I too know some folks who have done that on many occassion. Oh to be young and think/feel you are indestructable.

As far as the car stilling being at the lot, maybe when you purchased someone had a sale pending on the one you wanted so that is why they said it was "gone". Then again perhaps they just wanted to move the silver one quicker so they made the other one "gone" to kind of "force" you into what they wanted gone. My little beater BMW was one of those situations where the dealer wanted that specific car gone so they made it seem like it just was the only option(which I was fine with at the time given how much of a discount we got on it). I say forget about it and enjoy what you got because pondering over it will just drive you nuts.

Don't catch the buyer-remorse syndrome. Whew, that was a close one...should of thank the crotchrocket for getting it off your back.

By the way, that's a nice graphite color. Personally, I still like the iridium silver, which is what I have.

graphite and silver are both great colors! congrats on the car. I had a similar highway patrol situation. On friday i drove down to LA and hit 140 and slow a little, then i see the red lights come up VERY FAST behind me. Pull to the right immediately ( right lane) and he flew right past, guess he had a more important call.

its darker than palladium, more like steel, very much so like steel, just more expensive
