List of stuff to do when E63 wagon gets here?

List of stuff to do when E63 wagon gets here?
I still have ~3 months until the E63 wagon shows up, so to help pass the time, I am working on the list of what to do when the car does finally get here. This is what I am thinking so far:
1- 20% tint rear and back windows
2- custom clearbra, once piece full hood, one piece full front bumper, and side mirrors (anything else that should be covered?)
3- swap out PS3 tires for PSS (I ordered the 18" wheels, so sized matched PSS are available.)
4- de-badge rear E63 and AMG, leave side badging?
5- unlock nav, so all functions are available while moving - how do you do that?
6- subscribe to xm traffic service only option
What else should I think about doing? The goal is a stealthy look, comfortable riding, reliable sports car.
And pre-order lock (mid-April)
1- Make final decision on color (short list is down to: diamond white, palladium silver, steel grey) Right now, I am convinced that diamond white is the best color on a sunny day, palladium silver at dusk or at night and steel grey on a shady day.

LOL. I stole mine so its a keeper for a bit. All your "to do" list looks good but I dont think you need to subscribe to traffic- mine works and I didnt pay for it; its part of the 6 month trial. I even get weather for free too and its gps sensitive to where you are.
Good luck on the shock- damn part is nowhere to be found.

Would like to know how to unlock nav to use all functions while moving. All these big car companies should just team up with Garmin, TomTom, or Magellan to design a more user friendly nav.
By the way, it's too bad Bilstein or other shock companies don't have a similar replacement shock for this car.

incoming 2012 E63 wagon
I live in SF and have a 63 wagon coming next month. MBSF have delivered at least three - I have seen a black and a palladium silver one there in pre delivery. It is odd that you cannot get the 63 in the same basic interior colours as the base car (like almond with black), nor does the car come with a third row seat - it cannot be specced into the 63. I find MB far less accommodating than other luxury marques in letting you order the car the way that you'd like it. Am happy to show you my car when it arrives. Is palladium silver/grey with the perf pack.

RS77 - Thanks that would be great! Could you PM me when your car arrives and we can set something up? I have seen black and diamond white in person, but not palladium.

theres a few at fletcher jones NPB, 2 white, at high prices that have been there a few months, and a steel grey with PP, with 340 miles on it, aka certified pre owned, -- someone is gonna get a deal

340miles!...That's the approximate distance in only a day and a half of my driving on the weekend. I always wonder what makes people get rid of a car so quickly. On the other hand, some of those crook dealers will still insist on it being a new car.
