2012 Wagon Pricing
So i came across a pre-owned 2012 E63 wagon in LA with 350 miles on it - sticker was $105K - i spoke to the sales guy and they won't really give me the price on the car but said it would take between $95K-$100K to get it - does this seem way off to you guys? it is used - guy bought the car and brought it back and traded it for an E63 sedan. Dealer said it is best to just make an offer but not really sure what its worth.
It is the right color and options are fair but am looking for opinions before going in -
I think i could get a new one for $5K off sticker? -
Any suggestions?

Sorry I don't have any infos at this time on the pricing. It's hard to price especially when it has such a low miles. If you look around, you will find a post started by me about this dealer wanting to sell a 7000+ miles '11 E63 as new.
Anyway, I wonder why he would rather have a sedan over a wagon. I would go for a wagon if given the choice.

he's right I negotiated on a car that listed at $107 and was down to under $95 with all of conquest cash and % off msrp now mind you this was a sedan but still what he's asking on that car is too high IMHO.

thanks for the knowledge share - also i know when the orig buyer brought it back that he/she took a hit as no one dealer would do a straight up trade.

yup - its the one at FJ - i was thinking the same 90-93 - with the USAA discounts I can get a new one 5K off MSRP - from dealing with them thus far over email they are kind of arrogant and keep pushing for me to come in and talk and i have told them I am not in the LA area but the SF Bay - sometimes i think they don't listen.

that's what i am talking about -
i bought my last 2 MB's over the web/email/fedex - these guys are killing me - almost makes you want to not buy from someone who deals this way. too old school - no longer need to sit down, hash out numbers on paper and then shake hands -

With the OLD way, you can only visit a dealer or two in a day. Another well known method is to write an e-mail and send/fax them to all the dealership and get them to start a bidding war amongst themselves. the method is known to work really well esp with new cars. It's too bad I love to stick with CPO cars where the exact price is hard to gauge or else I would use the bidding war method. Yes, lowest bidder gets your contract.
With the arrogant feeling you are getting from that dealership, I wouldn't go there in person at all. There is absolutely nothing they have to talk in person that they cannot talk over the e-mail, phone, etc. It's most likely a shady dealer similar to my closest MB dealer. Don't let them waste your time. Tell them your time is very valuable and you are dealing with all your previous purchases and other dealers via phone, etc so if they don't want to do it that way then you will take your business to those that will.
