i drive them all, fast and hard
oil light on already
so after 2500 miles, the dash cpu says oil level low , add one quart.

whats up with that, trip to the dealer already?

Funny - mine just came on driving to work. Currently at 5500 KM (so roughly 3400 miles).

No need to worry. The beast needs a lot of lubrication :-)

Very normal. Car eats oil at the beginning. You will keep getting these even after adding oil until well after your first oil change. No need to worry or take to the dealer.

You must be fancy footing it--- LOL I saw that warning with about 1200 miles (if not less). Just add a quart of any 229.5 oil - I use Mobil 1 5-40 ESP.

how do i know when i should use 0w 40 vs 5 w 40

Warmer climate- 5-40 is ideal...

Make sure its 229.5 denotation- Mobil 1 is the recommended oil though.

7$ each if you buy 5 and a filter at pep boys
