Looks good. Hopefully there is no moisture issue. Hey, I guess you have your move to SB issues all sorted out already--that's why you have time to fool around.

Wait a minute...Texas requires front license plate? Well, you might as well leave it on since you are heading to Kali...

Yeah, but until I got this car I haven't had one...my wife's GL350 doesn't have one either and we never get hassled. One of a few things I'm not excited about in Cali is douchey cops with nothing better to do than hassle people for front plates, ridiculous taxation policies, and a state government more bloated than the Feds.

I installed the smoked lens on mine. Tip for those changing out the side lights....remove the BULB first before anything else. Not just the socket, but the actual bulb.

At least you know clearly what kind of place you are heading to. And that place is getting worse and worse. Soon, it'll be no different from Detroit. Look at me, I grew up in SoCal and now I'm hiding out at NW Indiana. From my visits back there, I ain't going back to SoCal. No way, Jose!

Looks like you have a different grill there, Mikey! By the way, search on the entire mbworld forums and you will read that removing the bulb first is one of the recommendations posted those those who had done it.

Yes, have a sport grille with black mesh and Distronic star. In my opinion, this is the grille that should be standard on E63 cars.

Please don't remind me, I'm going to a place with a great view and I will try and think about that rather than the aforementioned stuff that I can't do much about.

And the view from my front porch...

Thanks.

By the way, ran through the touchless wash today and the lamps seem to be moisture free.

Looks like you got a good one. Maybe it's time to photoshop the side marker in your signature photo.
