I guess Wald can get away with low profile tires since they are based in Japan, which, as we all know, has the best road surface condition in the world.
The low profile tires that have traditionally being found only on and needed only by light sports car are now found on nearly all cars. That, unfortunately, doesn't work out well on heavy cars especially when potholes are around.

wow, these guys at wald have been busy.....
the rear end looks like some kind of weird SUV......but the rest is tolerable.......
