E63 NA vs E550 4 Bi Turbo Tuned
I just ran a E 550 4 Matic Renntech tune at the drag strip. Pulled a 12.5 sec 1/4 mile at 111.4mph. That basically as fast as a E63 NA. I am now Stealth, looking for Camaros and Mustangs.

530hp/606TQ.
I ran against a SS that was modified to, he said, 480 HP, at the strip lasts night and he pulled only 13.4sec 1/4mi.

On the e 550 4 matic there is only E and S settings. ESP on or off that is it.
It made no difference if I ran with or without traction on. No wheel slippage.
The car is deceivingly fast. No real noise, no Tire squeal, really kind of boring after 9 runs.( 12. 78 to 12.55 qtr mi ). The only difference between times was how high I rev the engine before I let go at the Green light.

Besides the engine, the E63's suspension set up, steering, brakes, etc, all make it much more fun to drive than the regular E. Pretty much every review pointed that out when comparing the two since the difference is very obvious.

I know the difference, I have a E 63 NA at my home in FL. I am a snow bird, And I wanted a 4 wheel drive car for the snow. I put on the E 550 the Amg 255/285 -18 wheels from the E 63. Looks great. Totally different cars though.

Maybe on a normal E550 but a 4Matic hooks like an animal out of the hole and rocks the corners with incredible traction where the 63 might start getting a little skiddish....plus the pull out of the corner is epic

At the same time, the high speed pull (ie 70mph to 100mph+) is probably going to suffer from the extra 4matic hardwares. I guess we can't get everything.
