LSD is 2K miles, they change the fluid after break in. Oil is 10K or 1 year. Below is the maintenance book for the 2012 MY E-Class.

LSD is 1875 per the sticker on the glass of our 218 CLS and 212 E63's---- I had both my cars done by local tech as he is much cheaper than the dealer.
I think it takes about 3 of these:
On my C63 Black Series I did the oil and diff service at the same time (1800 miles or so)--- but on the E63 and CLS63 I waited until about 3500 miles for the oil and did the diff change at 1800. I drove all my cars very hard but drove my CBS extra hard and it runs up the RPM range more as its NA.
I think it takes about 3 of these:

Thanks Vic. I am also in OC. Do you have a good shop that you can recommend me to go? I am in Irvine to be exact.

Thanks for that. I find recommendations change over time. In 2007, there was no change interval on the LSD. Also, the transmission was change once at 40k. Both are now 40k intervals.

Hello Vic. Thanks for refering. I hope you guys had a good thanksgiving. I have not talked with Serge yet, but Fletcher jones quoted me $350 for the service. Is it a ok price? If I don't do the service in the dealer, will that void any warranties? Just wondering.

i drive them all, fast and hard
ill probably head up there tomorrow and meet him.....i need to get my pads and rotors done on my w126 and im close to 10000 on my 63 so time for an oil change and whatever else.....
wow 10000 already....i need to make it a weekend car or something, i think i told insurance it will be a car for pleasure < under 7000 miles a yr....
