we have seen many problems with opening the ECU to program it. So, we drill a small hole to access the boot pin needed to finish programming without opening it. We then epoxy the hole and paint match the ecu. We feel its better to do it this way as you won't have tool marks around the edges from opening the ecu, and your ecu seal is not tampered with to ensure it is still watertight.

If I decided to do a race map, how would i activate it if I wanted to go race gas? And what would the gains be over 93 octane! I'm ready to pull the trigger and do some real world testing so please get back to me

There are small gains for the race gas tune. You would need to send the ecu to run that file and take advantage of our free retune policy.
We have a pretty killer deal on the 63 tunes that comes with a handheld programmer in the c63 section. The thread is called flash your car without opening the ecu. I would link it but I'm on the phone and on vacation in mexico so I don't have computer access at the moment
When shopping tunes look for things like customer service and location. We have four worldwide locations for better service and have tuned well north of 5000 cars. Our tune is extremely similar to the other vendors with the biggest difference at the moment being the price!!!

Ok so i should have my ECU back to me tom around 10:30am, sucks cause i won't be home until 1pm and i can't wait to install my ECU and check out the new tune, but i just want to let anyone know who might be considering the tune that Eurocharged handled my ECU with nothing but professionalism and they were a pleasure to work with!
