Recall F10 M5

Guys both are great cars IMHO... I think one (the M), based on my 4 M's, caters more to the driving enthusiast and the AMG side addresses more of the luxo side with performance connected. Ill put it this way- Ive never owned an M the reminds me of an AMG and vice a versa. The closest is the C63 BS which reminds me more a true driver/handler that favors what M cars are more like IMHO.

The car has now been returned to the dealership and I'm seeking all $170K of my money back.
Bought a new E63 AMG today, it's awesome, so it's not all bad!

The power was insane and it sounded better than my previous F10 M5.
I couldn't be without a powerful car for a "couple of weeks", I just can't handle being beaten at the lights by taxi drivers and souped up cars driven by teens.
The $170K (£105,000) price is what we pay over here, it's ridiculous. It has the 20inch wheels, DCT, etc.

This was how many miles I manged to put on it in the day I had it

So, the million dollar question, how does the (brief) time in the M6 compare to your time so far in the E63?
In terms of driving, the M6, you feel more enclosed, lower down and the hood seems to extend forever. You also feel a lot more planted on the road.
The E63 I feel, is more airy, especially with that panoroof, which I'm not a fan of and this is my first Merc with the star protruding from the hood. I can't seem to stop looking at it. It also feels like quite a light car compared to the M6 in terms of steering?
My local BMW dealership is now offering to buy the E63 off of me so that I take the M6 back. Apparently the new pump will arrive Thursday and take one hour to install, according to their general manager. What a twist!

Nice car. Interior is nice. Not necessarily better. Form is different. Function the same. Rear AC is nice to have. Little things.
Heads up display coulsd be nice or a waste.
The thigh support from the front of seat is much better
I think our trunk is bigger.
I thought every speedometer there is in km/h rather than mph.
They called me this evening and are looking to get a price on my E63 tomorrow morning and have either an X6 4.0D or 2012 M3 until the pump arrives.
If they'll buy it with no cost to me I'll take it and the X6.
The dealer principle at first refused to refund me, until I mentioned the consumer laws here and my lawyers name.

HUD is awesome- hate that Benz never offered it as its not a trademark item of BMW.
The new Comand shoudl rival the 2013 IDrive but most of us have the 2012 version.
I did hear that on the M5- there are no side bolsters on the seats...???
the thigh part that can move out to touch the back of your knees was great ( not sure the technical term for this)
this feature is great in all beemers as far as i can remember all the sporty ones have it...
the mercs airbag system for tha tsucks, barely does anything
