MY13 Lease Deals

Anyone want to share some lease deals on a MY13

Looking at picking one up in the range of $96k MSRP

I know there's a $2,000 conquest credit and the car always at invoice.

I've heard $850 with tax on this forum although I'm not sure I believe that

Would appreciate some member insight here... Thanks guys!

lease payment

850 is hard to come by depending on your cap reducution or down payment.

mmost guys are ending up around 1000-1100 per month inc tax with bare min down on 36 month with 12k.

This was on 12, not sure about the 13's

Thanks for your reply.

Yeah - I call BS on sub-$900 / month payments unless big money down.

$1000-1100 seems like a solid deal. I had a random dealer run $1300 today on a $95k car which didn't sound right.

Invoice + $2k conquest is the starting point for this car

Can't wait to grab one for $1100 max

I am also looking for a better lease rate, similar to what the 2012's had. I am a buyer as soon as an offer similar to the 2012 comes out ($1k/month for 33 months). Had I known about the 2012 deal earlier, I would have purchased in August.

Can't seem to get a PP car below $1,300 at the moment and that's with $5,500 off MSRP. Rates are ****ty. Car is $103k at that monthly for 36 months, min drive off. Will keep trying.

Mb currently has the winter event going on and it gives $4K off the E-class... Not sure if this is enough to get to where you are looking for.

So the $4,000 Winter Event incentive, plus I ran across a site indicating another $2,000 bonus cash coupled with a low 2.9% rate on a 36mo lease. If you have an mbclub membership, knock off another $1,000 from the final negotiated price (read - don't mention it till the end). Try to get your dealer to split the tax or just pay outside of the lease. I don't know the residual, so I'm using 57% which may be high. So, if you can start out at, say, 1500 above invoice, then apply those discounts, I think you'd be in the $1,050 - $1,100 ballpark on a nicely equipped non-pp 2013 E63 (96,880 msrp). But I could be wrong.

Things I'm unsure of:
1. Might get another .0001 off the rate by using auto debit
2. If the winter event didn't replace conquest, then add another couple thousand in discounts, but I think it did.
3. Everything I just said (maybe Vic can correct me if he's feeling up to it)

There is a 4000 dollar winter incentive on E sedans (incl 63) and S classes (2013's)
Im not sure about any bonus cash
You can not combine the club cert with the winter event.
MBFS lowest rate is 1.74 at 36 if you are tier A1
No special leases on the E63- std rate applies
Best lease rate is .00160 or .00150 with autopay tier A1.
Residual at 36 months for an E63 with 15k is 59.

Thank you sir. Round here, dealers don't like to give the good rate anyway. They tell you it's available but won't go under .0018 in exchange for giving a better deal on the front end. Luckily we have the tax credit, so that helps since TX is an up-front state. Not sure how you West Coasters are able to start working from invoice, they are not that generous here. Usually starts at 1500 above invoice plus the silly prep fees, and bottoms out AT invoice plus destination. I haven't actually purchased recently but that's the best offer I've seen. At least no gas guzzler tax on the 55tt.

Invoice or better calls are always indicative of the allocation the dealer has or doesnt along with the motivation to move certain units that hog up flooring dollars. Most west coast dealers get a larger allocation so they move their cars based on inventory. Its all about timing.

I have never paid sticker for a Benz, the closest I ever did was 2k under sticker on my Black Series and I was fine with that.

Not to drag this on too long, but I always wondered if you could get a better deal ordering versus buying off the lot. Do they have to use their allotment for an ordered car?

I think I follow most of what you're saying Vic.

So a mildly optioned out car would be $98k MSRP(LSD, driver assistance, park sensors, amg leather). $4k incentive is $95k. I'm not sure how much MSRP/Invoice is on the cars, so I'm not sure if the price would be much less. In Dallas, there isn't a lot of negotiating, but I don't mind having a car shipped from out of state.

Capitalized Cost: $95,000.00
Residual Value: $59,000.00 after 36 months (assuming 1.74 rate)
Monthly Payment: ~$1110

I think it might be over-simplifying it, but does that sound about right, or is the lease calculator I'm using not correct?

EDIT: I entered residual incorrectly, should be $57k (I thought $59k instead of 59%)

The 1.74 is a retail rate not leasing.... so your payment would be much more.

If you leased it (im gonna pull taxes and you can add them in later since you are upfront):

MSRP 99000
Residual at 59% is 58410
Net Cap is 95000
Depreciation is 36590
Monthly is 1016.38
Lease MF (if you are Tier A1 and auto pay) .00150
Monthly interest is 230.12
So your payment prior to tax is 1246.50

Retail at 95000 (no taxes) at 36 months at 1.74 is 2710.28 plus taxes etc

As for invoice and msrp with benzes it depends on the size of the store and how much they sell---- rule of thumb is 6% in the front so if a car is 100k sticker there is 6k to invoice or 94k---- then there is holdback which the dealer has behind the invoice and this varies but is basically 6-8% based on the dealership sales.

Its almost always easier to negotiate a car on the lot---- most ordered cars are specific to exactly what the customer wants so the dealer has a little more leverage. I have seen buyers get ordered cars at msrp and some below but rarely do they pay over msrp since its not part of the allocation.

I am new to mbworld, so any help is appreciated.

My current deal pending deal: 2012 PP 103 msrp, 1170/mo net (includes CA tax) 36-mo, 10k/yr, 2kdrive off.

Is this a good deal for a 2012 considering some dealers already have 2013's?

What is your adjusted net cap cost? (basically your price) .... it appears you are getting a good discount and since its a 2012 I can see why.

Vic: I appreciate your input and help. Although i like the forthcoming '14 updates/4matic/more std power, I am going to pull the trigger.

What does triple net refer to?
