My 2012 E63 at Airstrip Attack

First off, BIG thanks to Ryan and Jason of Shift-S3ctor for organizing yet another great event. Both days ran very smoothly and everyone had a blast. Can't wait for the next one! Overall my E63 performed very well and surprised quite a few folks, including myself.

It's taking me a bit of time to upload all my video footage, but here's a teaser of me against a stock 2013 M5 that attended. Run was from 40 to 160mph. The owner was a really nice guy and is currently working with ESS to develop a tune. I smell a rematch.

Even with camera angle considered, I think it might have been a bit more than 3-4 lengths. But whatever, a win's a win, and I'll take it.

I know the owners of both cars--- they were both stock and the M5 pulled nicely as you saw. I have driven the new M5 up to about 165 mph---- the car really just pulls and pulls but doesnt give you that raw torquey feeling that you might feel in the M157 (but it still is a vast improvement over the S85 V10 engines in regards to this feeling).

A tuned M157 will walk an M5 as you have all seen and add in race gas (Xtyper you used 100% race gas right?) and you will see maybe 25 more hp in the tuned car.
