Renntech lowering module VS hr springs and adj. links
the links trick the computer; the module changes the computer values to accomplish the same goal. i chose the module after the links were not behaving in the wagon. the module is adjustable, but the links are less so.
ride quality is similar.

Seems like a total ghetto way to lower your car and give you inferior performance.

I drove the car hard and had great stability. Here is the car dropped:

Now obviously this was back in 2010 and now there are better options for the same pricing like E63 springs Duh!!!!!
As for the rear just use adjustable links- once you have your height set you wont be adjusting it so the module is a waste. The car will ride the same if you set the same height with the module or links since its the suspension that creates the ride feel.

Still dont buy that you cant tell the difference between and E63 front springs and E350, unless MBZ is just blowing sunshine up our *** about AMG performance.

I owned the car- drove it stock with the "AMG" and then with the E350 springs. As with all cars that are lowered the suspension geometry changed and it was less than optimal. But lets face it an E63 is a 2 ton plus pig car and not a canyon carver per se. The 350 springs did just fine for me- but I drive my cars very hard in straights and turns so a vagina foot might even enjoy the 350 springs better.
I did this, like I said above, when there wasnt E63 HR Springs. Im sure the spring rates are slightly different but by how much? The E350 and E500 W212 benzes do not weigh that much less than the AMG counterpart.
-cheaper than a module
-I saw quite a few people trying to sell off modules that gave me a sense they were not that great
-read many posts where modules became confused and didn't work properly
-links are fairly easy to adjust/tweak and simple to remove back to stock
