Anyone jump from C63 to E63?
I'm considering moving from a 2012 C63 coupe to a 2013 E63 and taking advantage of some decent deals. Anyone else make this jump? Curious to hear your thoughts on pros and cons.

Good question... I'm wondering too as I'm about to do the same. Availability of 4matic and wagon bodystyle made me want to change.
Specific questions are more about stopping power (same brake set up as PP C63 but more weight to stop). I'm wondering if carbon ceramic options are worth the 13000$! I know driving dynamics are a bit less aggressive on the E.

I made that move. I previously had a c63 coupe. Wanted to move to something bigger.
I considered cls63 but since its 4 seat configuration did not suit me well. Back to the diferences. C63 has slightly better steering. It is a lot more harsher on the road. E63 is more refined. Adjustuble suspentions 3 modes...even in S+ mode it does not feel as hardh as c63 did.
Bottom line is if you track the car C63 is the way to go... If you want a sedan with A LOT of power, refined etc then E63 is the way to go.
I also picked up 2013 E63. Good luck

I'm looking for a little more luxury and refinement plus 4 doors. So I think it's a perfect fit. Also considering the M5, but I think I'm just a benz guy.
I actually was impressed with the E's steering. Moreso than the M5. It was more nimble than I was expecting it to be.

I went from C63 to 2012 E63 with P30. Love the car, even more after I tuned. The E class has much more room and is more elegant than the c class but to drive like a freak the C class was much more fun and it sounded awsome after i moded it. The whole reason I changed it was that I got married and had a baby so we needed bigger car.. But if you go for e class u should be happy with it more than c class overall. I know i am!!!

Went from C63 to CLS63.
As previously stated, the C63 is more of a hooligan, lighter and nimbler. I had an 09 and the interior quality was not on par with its price tag. The newer models are better.
I loved the NA engine but the ability to tune the M157 makes an E/CLS a clear winner performance wise (other than the track).
It depends where you live and if you can spend the $$$. In FL, it is mostly straight roads so the extra weight disappears with the higher hp. $$$ wise, if you can swing it, I think it is a no brainer.

2011 E63
I went from 2006 C55 to 2011 E63. I drove the C63 and frankly the C55 was more fun to drive. C63 just seemed to smooth. The E63 feels very smooth in comparison to my old C55 but its really a nice car and I wanted more room in the back for car seats.

I'm wondering if the same people going from the C63 to new E63 will want to go back to the C63 in the end for the lighter and nimbler size and weight of the C63.
Especially, now that the reports are the 2015 C63 will be getting the M157 and 4matic.
If that's true, I want the next C63.

2012 C63 P31, 2013 E63 P30
I have both. They are both really different
We have both a 2012 C63 P31 and a 2013 E63 P30. Although I just got the E, these two are completely different cars.
The C is much more tight, and rides much firmer than the E. There is no doubt that the E is larger and that is the way I like it.
After a while I get a bit tired of getting in and out of the C. The seats are significantly bolstered and can be tough to negotiate. The feature to move the steering column out of the way on entry and exit should also move the seat back. It did in my old 300C SRT8 and I really miss that feature.
The C handles and sticks like a slot car. It is blazingly fast with huge torque. I am still messing around with the E, and while it is bigger, it's amazing how fast it gets from, say, 65 to 95. I did run out to the desert a week ago and got mileage in the 20's.
I promise more reports to come.
