Sorry for the noob question, but looking at the 2014 ordering guide, if I skip the pano sunroof, the car has NO sunroof correct? It is either panoramic roof or steel top. No regular sunroof/moon roof if you don't order pano?

Going in to dealer Saturday to order...

I highly doubt that if you are in the States. MBUSA has decided a long time ago that the US loves sunroof so much that no MB will ever be in the States without one. Personally, I would rather have the steel top.

I stayed away from the pano roof ( had one before and just too many problems and squeaks) The car came with the regular sunroof. I have the 2012.

No Pano roof on my 2014 E63S order either. Have similar in my 5 series, and it's just too hot most of the time so it stays closed anyway.

Welcome to the crowd! Good choice, my man! Yes, the sunshade in my car is closed most of the time. Of course, do a limo tint of 5%VLT and the sunroof will be more useful. I'm sure the MagicSky technology will trickle to all MB cars eventually.

I'm in the process of ordering a 2014 E63 S Wagon.

Does anyone know if I can order a regular sunroof instead of the panoramic one on the wagon, or if the newer models have the pano issues fixed?

Any 2012 owners with a panoramic sunroof? Thanks!

My understanding is the Pano sunroof is standard on the E63S Wagon. In reviewing the build sheet with my sales person I didn't see any Pano roof delete option or anything like that.

Thanks for your input. I think you're right but I had my salesperson send an email to check on availability. So far no response.
