Wow, I have never noticed that. That looks pretty good. Let us know if you find them anywhere. On another note, have you looked into tinting that section out somehow?

Hi,
That is actually my car a while back -- I just tinted the middle portion of the taillights, then I changed it to LaminX so that the whole taillights look a little bit dark. The red seems to be darker maybe because of the photo (light effect, etc). If you want to have a light dark taillights/ cherry red taillights try tinting your taillights with LaminX (the lightest one). I'm currently using it on my CLS as well.

Ok, do you have any pictures of your car as you have done this?

Thanks for the tip, I have ordered the "Tint" film for my taillights now from Lamin-X, can not wait to try these!
But I shall have only those in the central white stripe on the tail lights, it goes well it ? or do I need to cover the entire backlight?

Attached is the pic I can find of my car right now -- its not too dark. It's like cherry red. I used the "tint" from LaminX.Originally Posted by MBDesign

I think it depends on how you want your taillights to look like. I did the whole taillights after I did the white portion only, I think that is better since it look seamless and not too dark for the taillights; just right. I like the cherry red look. Enjoy

If its not leased, get them painted at a body shop. It looks a million times better and looks factory vs when you out a film over it

You will see LaminX tint film is still glossy; almost as good as painted ones plus it is easier to put back to stock whether your car is leased or not -- I just want peace of mind. But the other one (on pic OP posted) surely is ugly after I used LaminX and does look somehow matte compared to LaminX. Many of friends actually said it doesn't look like a film on it. Anyway, it's just preferenceOriginally Posted by Ckim111
