Basically for $7k you get: limited slip, more HP (boost), cool deviated stitching, illuminated door sills, painted calipers, trunk lid spoiler, some glossy black insets/shadow chrome front/back/side, "S" badge, sport steering wheel, silver seat belts, AMG crests in the seats....
If you think about it, if you paid for these things as options it would probably be more than $7k.

The S is the way to go, its funny its so much less than the 030 Performance Pack in previous years yet its much more car. You also get the additional trim on the front and rear bumpers.

The M157 uses a air/water intercooler setup.
I can't see them adding another radiator for cooling the block. They could just make the existing one bigger.

Sort of like when ze Germans tell us the S-Model has a "locking rear differential." Heck, I'm still trying to figure that one out.

My wagons about to start switching colors...and I'm still waffling btw a palladium silver/black 10 spoke or magno alanite grey/5 spoke titanium ext/wheel setup...may need to Ditch the distronic plus with matte and it'll take two extra weeks...but pics of the matte and 5 spoke look amazing and I'm not totally convinced yet on the black wheels.....any thoughts?

I was really considering the matte alanite paint, but I've read a lot about matte paint recently and it seems like it's a total annoyance to keep up. And any scratches/dents would be very hard to repair like a typical clear coat. I decided to pass on it for those reasons and for the fact that I think it's getting sort of played out...I mean Hyundai is offering it as an option now!
I am doing polar white with the black wheels and night styling pack...I think it will look awesome.

I was conflicted between night and carbon fiber, but at the end of the day..it's just not worth the $5k difference for essentially the same look. Def getting pano roof!
Was also contemplating blacking out the chrome around the windows as that doesn't go black with the night package. I think blacking out trunk spoiler and that strip of chrome below it though would look weird, so maybe i just leave them...unclear until I get it.
