Renntech does it again...613whp/744wtq!!!
Earlier this week I sent my ECU out to Renntech to have it tuned. Everything went very smoothly, and I received it back two days later as planned, along with a couple of BMC Air Filters.
The car felt amazing on the street, and after 50 or so miles of driving I took it to my usual local dyno at Specialty Z in Chatsworth, CA. Considering this was Renntech's new Intermediate Tune, I was blown away by the results. Keep in mind the extreme heat this was performed in and that the only other mod was BMC drop in filters.
Car: 2013 E63 AMG Non-PP
Modifications: BMC Air Filters, Renntech Intermediate Tune
Fuel: 93 octane mix via blend of Chevron 91 and Sunoco 100
Ambient Conditions: 104 deg F, 28.97 Baro, 12% Humidity
Dyno Type: Dynojet 224
Peak Results (4th gear): 613whp & 744wtq SAE Corrected!!!
Attached below is a picture of the dyno graph printout. Besides amazing peak power, note how smooth the curves are, and how solid the AFR looks.
Needless to say, I couldn't be happier with these results. Much thanks to George and team at Renntech for the great customer service and a top-notch product.
Next up...the Airstrip Attack event hosted by Shift-S3ctor Oct 5-6. Can't wait!

would be interesting to know what parameters they used to get such different numbers than your 2012 car.....granted diff day, diff dyno temp etc etc, but still 30hp/60 torque is alot
how does the car feel diff than the first one??
id love to get behind the wheels of a tuned car before i ever do that....might visit weistec soon and see if i can try one of theirs

Yes, but I mixed 9 gallons of Chevron 91 with 3 gallons of Sunoco 100 racing fuel (available at the pump at my local 76 station) to produce a 93 blend. I'm sure that helped.

IT LIKE ITS STOLEN!
Congrsts and all but that's not all that great for a tune considering dynojets read high. So a mustang dyno your innthr high 5's, Renntech in my opinion is overpriced ****
