No power folding mirrors on "14 e63s..

2010 S4 (sold), 2014 E63 S Wagon

Power folding mirrors aren't an available option for the 2014 E63 Wagon.
Additionally, the ashtray comes standard and is unable to be removed.

If you look at front drivers door open picture in this thread "2014 E-63 AMG 4MATIC S-Model Pics" thyere is no button for folding mirrors. This is US spec car.
In pictures of press release from MB, there is a button. I guess Europe got them but not North America... another questionable delete of an item on a 100 k + car that must cost 100$ to install at factory!

If they were 100k in Australia I would buy three of these cars
They are nearly $300k here as the government adds taxes about 100k for luxury car tax on their retail price of about 150k.
The good thing is we only get the s line and it comes fully optioned including folding mirrors. Every option comes standard, The only option available is the ceramic brakes and that's 25k..lol
Just pulled up the list price from carsales and confirmed power folding mirrors

The ashtray is standard but the insert is absolutely removable. Mine is sitting on the kitchen counter. There's a finished non-ash tray beneath the insert.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Everything is all relative to the cost of living and incomes, and income is also relative to cost of living. Thus, the income figure by itself is somewhat meaningless. Imported goods, including cars, are really expensive due to the super high taxes and tariffs in other countries.

I think the average salary in Au is $72500pa. If you earn say $150k p.a you are doing better than most. But in all honesty even if you make $200k a year its still hard to afford this car.lol, I have read somewhere that USA is the cheapest place in the world to buy cars I guess it is true. How much is the average wage in the USA? aus is most definitely not the most expensive place to get a car but im sure its up there, Singapore is way more expensive http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/ne...?CarCode=11341
ahh well I will be coming to states in December for vacation this year and will hire a E63 for my holiday..lol
