Correct Psi for the continentals on the E63 2014

I'm having a little confusion, I just picked up the car and due to a bad experience with my local dealer I can't rely on the current settings of the car. I read the display on the door panel for the correct psi and it states 51 psi for the front and 51 psi for the back tires, then I checked the car computer and it has 41psi for the front and 37 psi for both back ones. Does anybody knows the correct settings. The car has the continentals tires.
Thank you for your help.

it really depends on your driving situation...

i have a W212 E200, on staggered 19".

Front: 245/35ZR19 @ 36 psi
Rear: 275/30ZR19 @ 45 psi

FYI.

Folks, this is not complicated. The factory provides the correct information on the inside of the gas flap.

Look for applicable max speed, tire type and then passenger load/cargo. The left column is FF and the right column is RR.

The top row is the most common situation. 41psi FF / 38psi RR. Yes, more pressure in the front than the rear. 51/51 is for very high speed, heavy load ONLY.

Sedan information only. W212 E63 wagon may have different values.

Thank you Ace10 for the clarification, it is always better to ask on this forums than the SA of some dealers. Thanks again.

Sure thing. I just went through a similar dance with the indy who installed my winter tires. They were oblivious to the factory guidance and my reinforcement of said guidance. Vehicle was delivered with 30/30 (!). When I went back and told them it should be 45/42, they ignored and went with 51/51 (?). I corrected it myself.

Needless aggravation.

Typical. I always have to adjust tire pressures when a car comes home from the dealer. At least they didn't rotate staggered tires (as the Nissan dealer did with my 300ZX TT) or tell you (as the Ford dealer did) "we always overinflate the tires as the weather is getting cooler and most people don't check their tires" when you complain that the tires were 8psi over recommended pressure. Even the Volvo dealer sets my wife's car's tires at 30psi when the recommended pressures are 35/39 psi(comfort/performance settings). You would think they would learn!

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Are these higher front, lower back figures only for the 4matic or also the '11 & '12 ones? The placard on mine has the same 43 psi for both the front and the back at normal setting. At max speed and load, the front only went up a little (45 psi) while the back went up way high, around 49 psi. What's the rationale for these changes?
