a whole new ecu....damn.. the tuner must have painted over the hole real well for it to be undetected.

Hmmm, I'm glad you got your car fixed, however, I have to admit I don't like the idea of this being covered by warranty. When you decide to modify a car, you should be willing to assume the risks inherent with it. All of us end up paying the price for this.
