In 2004, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spen_King criticised SUV owners who drove their vehicles in urban areas, saying that vehicles like the Range Rover he created were "never intended as a status symbol but later incarnations of my design seem to be intended for that purpose."

BTW, how is GL550's suspension different from the 450? I believe they are the same, as vdub has mentioned.
