It's here, not home yet
The wagon arrived this AM after long wait. Ton of cars arrived today, so not a lot done, but I want it right. Waiting for tint on side and rear windows and ceramic tint on Pano roof. Xpel 1/2 hood, front end, rockers, rear end and load area to be done as well, prototyping for Xpel template for E63 Wagon since HQ here.
Debadge coming as well. Steel Grey/Black, silver accents, titanium wheels, missing dead pedal but trunk sunroof intact Haven't sat in it yet.

Lee, congrats! Looks great. Glad it is finally here. Like the Steel Gray. My wrap is half hood. I am +/- on it but it doesn't show so bad with my darker paladium silver. I think it won't be very conspicuous on your car as well though I do have second thoughts about getting full hood. If you had white or light silver, I would get full hood.
Can't wait to see it in April
Enjoy

Thanks guys. Looking forward to seeing everyone in April.
I have done 1/2 hoods since first clear bra in 98. Don't mind line, just like naked paint. Always do whole front, behind wheels, rockers, and rear since TX has semi-improved ranch roads. Xpel HQ usually does my cars, so I have awesome installations, edges, and folds. Critter tested 120++.
Tinting Pano, had Cooper S that wasn't tinted, and it was just too much on 105 days. Next Cooper S had no sunroof, and I've tinted the glass ones since.
Badges off, and should be good to run wheels off it.

Picked up today, finally.
Really nice delivery.
Xpel did great job on template, can barely see line on 1/2 hood. Tint great too, Pano very nice now.
Drive home nice, spent most of day in M3, so comparison easy. Surprisingly direct steering, nice tactile feel, a little bit of inertia felt, no sense of AWD so far. Used C, S+, and comfort and sport suspension modes. Haven't tried much yet, but really pleased. Brakes really progressive, easy to modulate, car feels similar to M3 under braking at moderate speeds.
Need more miles, motor green but 120 is 3k-ish. Going to be fun.

2014 E63 AMG S Wagon
Sick. Absolutely ill. Thanks for previous reply. Get off you computer and drive. All a man needs for the next few days is a gas card and a good come back when "Johnny Law" asks if you knew how fast you were going.
MB World looks forward to your impressions + pics.

Nice wagon! Love that color fits the wagon realy well. What tint % did you go with? Im thinking of going 50% all arround. Yours looks nice.

Thanks.
Tint is 30 front, 20 rear, 40 sunroof. Really came out nice, not too dark to attract attention. 92% IR block on windows, 85-90% on roof. Probably overkill on roof, but truly TX tests AC, and glare is brutal.
I like the factory car, but I'm really thinking about debadging it. The way I drive, no doubt it's an AMG. Prefer people that don't know remain ignorant. Maybe a nice Hybrid or Bluetec badge? Have Pirellis thankfully

Now 300 miles and some thumbs up
Nearly 300 miles on it today. Hauls. Never used more than 4500, no manual shift, ran mostly in C and S.
Suspension C, but up around 85+ S mode better, jounce and rebound catch the little stuff. S+ seems overkill unless really pounding it, haven't really done that yet, so jury's out. Ran some roads I know really well, 2x posted, was loafing.
Lane tracking pretty awesome, need to figure out max speed it goes. Lots of gravel/gray schmutz on verge confused it a bit, but cool. Turn signal must interact, as it didn't fight. I drifted back over once, and it just smoothly whipped me back into L lane.
Lousy lane discipline and cruise awesome together. Set at 100, would spot car, calculate speed differential and show on speedo, and brake/downshift really smoothly to match speed. No jerk, drama like Audi, Bentley, Lexus systems we've used. In town stuff and stop start great too.
T-intersection function seems ok, haven't pushed it much, had crew in car. Don't want to wad it up before it's broken in. We're in dark neighborhood, and auto high-beams OK, pretty conservative but once lit, nice pattern. Adaptive works nicely, we're spoiled having had it for years. Same gray schmutz on verges lights up great. Hated that in winter up north, rarely have it down south.
Sorry for verbiage, just gotta try new stuff in extremis. Only way I can get this thing WFO is break-in, so might as well mess with it. Stopped for dinner with crew, got a bunch of thumbs up from some college kids. In a wagon.
Hope you guys are having as much fun or more with these cars.
