2014 e63 rear wheel fender gap..

Idk if it's just me but all the pics I look at of '14 4matics there seems to be a big wheel/fender gap especially in the back and the car is raked front to back....does it lower when in motion? Will lowering links work on the 4mTics? That wheel gap bugs me..

'12-13 are just better.

The large wheel gap is to distract you from the missing rear fender flares.

Its 4WD, right? Its for muddin'.

Good one. Need to add some oversized mud flaps front and back, too.

For the first 60ft, after which (unless you guys shut it down and put on your hazards, (mad tite style yo)), we'd do a little tour, slowly moving to view the front of the car through our rear view mirror... thinking to ourselves...

I say MB should still offer the option of RWD in North America, or at least have a fully variable torque distribution system like in GTR and Porsche so it can be 100% rear most of the time and only up to 50% max at the front if needed.

BTW, that fish looks like a catfish. I love fish n chips, but I wouldn't want it using catfish.

I get the feeling after a bunch of research that AWD systems can be any two of light, smart, or strong.

We just got light and strong (not smart).

That sort of logic applies to so many things...home renovation etc...you want cheap, fast, or high quality, pick two.

True, don't hate your AWD cousins, love them for their traction.

The chrome strip is easily erased and many of us prefer the new modern look to the old (*cough* old in tooth) look.

Not true on 2014. If you drive in Comfort mode, then the car lowers like 0.8" after you shut it off. If you drive in either Sport shock settings, it doesn't need to lower because it's already lowered when driving. This is described in the owners manual.

I don't find the 2014 to look jacked up at all; in fact quite the opposite.
