Header Choice - ARH or Modern Horsepowers

Folks, I'm at 425 at the wheels with a 2010 e63 and these mods:

- Eurocharged Tune/Flash
- ROWS
- K and N filters
- Resonator and secondary CATs removed

I want some headers to get closer to the 460+ whp range.

Does any have A header install with dyno sheet and if so, does it fit fine? Any rubbing?

Actually I just found out that Modern Horsepower doesn't have enough demand to make the headers, however they have a lot of other products I am interested in. They seem to build everything for the C63. Bummer...

MBH headers?
PLM headers give 10whp more for 1800 they are shorty headers.

We also have headers for the E63. We make everything here in the USA (Arizona) and use the best available materials to make every header system. Our headers are on some of the most powerful 63's on the road.

only reason I have not yet chosen MBH for my e63 is because they make the ride way to loud and create a drone in the cabin from what I've heard.

remove the resonator with X pipe with PLM headers they are a direct bolt on with no modifications needed, they maintain the factory sound + 12whp + 13wtq from headers.
Remove secondry cats with xpipe and keep the resonator you'll once again get around 4whp more roughly saying and get an amazing growl heres some examples.
(reso delete only)
(secondry cats delete and resonator delete with x pipe)

Our headers do not create drone. In fact our 304 stainless steel is thicker than the others mentioned. As for rasp, that is going to come from the removal of parts such as the secondary cats, and or resonator. We have options to add in a second set of resonators into our mid-section to calm things down. Headers alone are not going to produce to much sound. My advice would come in two options. 1) headers only. This will leave the factory secondary cats in place. 2) would be adding a set of extra resonators into our header mid-section package. This will calm the car down a bunch over running a catless system. If this is an option you want to explore, we have options to customize our headers mid-section to meet your needs.

Whatever way you choose to go, if you are running a catless system even with an Xpipe, you will get some rasp. Drone on the other hand should not be a issue on the 63's. I'm yet to hear one that drones bad. Keep in mind the E63's muffler is not anywhere as aggressive sounding as a C63. The responses I get a lot from E63 owners is how can I make the system louder? In that regard the limiting factor is the rear muffler. For many years the E-Class AMG has always had a milder sound when compared to Other AMG's like the C-class and CLS class. So having a milder or less aggressive muffler may actually work in keeping sound levels at a manageable level.

+1 for MBH - fit in my C63 is great, sound is incredible (loud but no drone), and picked up 7mph in the 1/4 not to mention greatly increased top end
