You might need to do a reset to the adaptive tranny. After that, the car will become alive and react more instantaneously. Try disconnecting the battery overnight or try the procedure posted under the MCT TCU reset thread over at the C63 forum:

2010 MB E63 AMG

I'm from the Midwest (Chicago) area and you don't come across many AMG's up here. I recently flew down to West Palm Beach and drove back a Black on Black 2010 E63 with 42K miles still under the MB B2B warranty until Aug14 with nearly every feature available for that year except for the AMG Performance Package which at that time was priced at $8,950. I'm sure some would argue that that would be the only option that is necessary for that beast. But this is an everyday driver for me and technically my office, so I wanted all the other creature comforts such as Distronic (radar cruise) which I've used everyday since purchase, Dynamic Seats which give me a nice massage between clients, and Parktronic to ensure my bumper stays nice and blemish free (at least from my end). So going through the options list available for that year the ones it doesn't have is 19" Forged Split 5-Spoke wheels, carbon fiber package, and the AMG Performance Package. Because there were many options available for this year it is more direct to mention the ones it doesn't have rather than the ones it does. You can see all the options available in my previous post in this thread. So, it's a 2010 MB E63 AMG with 42K miles, 4 months left on original MB B2B warranty (wouldn't have purchased otherwise) good exterior which I have already upgraded to great. There was only one small ding in the rear passenger 1/4 panel which my dentless repair guy said should come out, and a few scratches that will need more than a light grit compound to remove. After the clay bar treatment with the light grit compound buff and multiple coats of wax it looks fantastic. The 2 front wheels had some minor road rash which is fine because these wheels will be my winter set anyway. And the tires are POS Sumitomo's with about 50% life left at purchase (about 2 weeks ago) which is already down to about 35% and probably cooked before the end of the month. To be replaced with either Michelin Super Sport's or Conti DW's. It came with both key FOB's, all books, complete spare tire kit and deal breaking MB First Aid Kit. So all of this was had for the low, low price of only $39K. I'm hoping all this will be useful to you. I did weeks of research before I pulled the trigger on this and am having a blast blowing the doors off many cars that have made the all too common mistake of not knowing what sort of Petro Beast is living under the hood. I called my dealership contact a bit ago and they just received 2 more W212 E63's. Feel free to PM me for my sales contact's information. So I wrap up this response with the fact that your market indeed has many W212 E63's available, and he has many other AMG's for that matter. Good luck with your search out there.

Guys help me out here...

P2 package includes P1 package so i jsut got to make sure the car im getting has the P2. Also the Panorama Sunroof is another option. Drive-Dynamic Multicontour Seat with Massage, is this one seperate and not in any of the packages? AMG Performance Steering Wheel , I figure that could be added in later.

Driver Assistance Package and Parktronic (With Parking Guidance) are two seperate things?

AMG Performance Package / I guess this comes with that steering wheel. Adaptive AMG performance suspension syst; Rear limited-slip differential; Whats this adaptive performance suspension? And not having this package means i get no rear lsd?

My memory is starting to blur so I'm just going to do my best to recall but I'm not 100% sure. I'm sure those who have recently bought a car and have all the options fresh in their heads will be able to give you all the scoops. Here they are:

Drive-Dynamic Multicontour Seat with Massage is probably part of P1 or P2 package.
Driver Assistance Package and Parktronic are two separate things.
AMG performance package does comes with the 3 spoke steering wheel with Alcantara. The adaptive AMG performance suspension means stiffer springs, which is part of the PP along with the LSD.

Is you car CPO'ed? If yes, did you get the factory extended warranty?

Yes I agree it shouldn't be that difficult to find a quality car in states like FL or CA. Everywhere you look, there are so many around. When I was buying, I almost ended up at Ft. Myers, FL. I was also near the Greater Chicago area at the time (in IN).

The tune removes some of the torque management that is dialed Into the drive by wire throttle. Making throttle tip in more aggressive/responsive. I'll let AMS talk more about the technical aspect of it

Most every car they have tuned (which is all of mine) have better throttle response both from making more power and I believe with manipulation of torque management/delivery with degree of throttle input.

The car is NOT CPO'ed as it was NOT purchased from an MB dealer. It is however still under the 4 year or 50K mile MB Bumper to Bumper warranty for another 7K miles or until 7/30/14. And I purchased an Aftermarket 5 year 60K mile warranty (which begins after the original MB B2B ends). So in other words the extended warranty begins 7/31/14 or 50K miles and ends 7/31/19 or 110K miles. Zero deductible with full Roadside and repairs to be done at any dealer including the MB Stealership. That put me back $3,600. But I don't mind for the sort of peace of mind I get for the term of that warranty. And chances are I'll probably have a CL63 within a few years anyway.

gotcha. so no amg perf package means no LSD? so its E-LSD without it?

That sounds like a good deal. If you don't mind sharing, which aftermarket insurance did you purchase and how did you find it? Do you have a contact person and phone number to buy that insurance? Does the insurance give you a prorated refund if you sell your car earlier than the end of the term? Feel free to PM me if needed. Thanks.
