Slight stumble coming off idle braking
Quite consistently, I'm noticing a very slight "stumble" when I come off idle braking. It goes like this:
1) Come to complete stop in C mode on flat surface.
2) Hold the brake for a few seconds as if waiting at stoplight.
3) Release the brake but don't immediately press accelerator.
4) Right before I have a chance to depress the accelerator, I get a slight idle stumble and very subtle jerk, then it accelerates smoothly as normal.
Almost feels like the car takes itself out of gear and into neutral while holding the brake, then re-engages the gear after letting off the brake.
Anybody else know what I'm talking about? Is this normal MCT behavior? I sure hope so, as I would hate to have to take it to the dealer for this.

Actually I have the Eco Mode disengaged by my tune, so that can be ruled out.

its normal
its like almost as a manual gear that you didn't take your left foot from clutch and it moves slightly with 10% off clutch and then it hooks the gear in.
its been like that since years with me, and sometimes it revs and 10% of gear is hooked ad after it moves for 2 meters and gets all the power.
did you pressed the gas pedal more than 50% when moving ? if so
than its normal.

I have it in my SL as well--- The MCT wet clutch isn't all too smooth in certain situations. I just try not to stop LOL

By the way, did you ask Renntech to disable the ECO button from the tune? I might have to ask for that lol

2010 E63 AMG
About two weeks after I bought my 2010 E63 AMG, I took it to a local Mercedes Dealer and explained that I was concerned that the engine stumbles off idle. They kept it for a day and a half and then after informing me of all the checks that they performed, they said "Note: The AMG engine will have reduced power on cold start until engine oil and coolant temp rise, this is normal operation!"

the wagon has quite a quirky group of starts as I leave the garage, drop kids at the school, and meander through downtown while the car is still warming up.
Some times it bucks, sometimes it hesitates, sometimes is leaps. Sport mode completely eliminates the issues, since I believe 1st gear makes for much more smooth starts (C uses 2nd to start).
Sure its annoying... I expect better... but I couldnt get the dealer to care and it doesnt seem harmful.

warming up the tranny takes longer than warming up the motor and is as important as a warm motor.
the mclaren f1 has a transmission guage and the owner is warned to allow the transmission to warm up completely before driving even in a routine manner
