nice... weight reduction alone is good for 50hp..... and I'm sure it sounds better with the carbon fiber!

With the new carbon trim, I hope you have a good radar detector/lazer jammer. You will need it. May I ask how much was the entry fee?

so i purchased NON amg parts initially, thinking i could use some parts instead of use my own parts....obviously there are differences in some parts, especially in the center console, but even teh AC surround is different
so i had a entire brown wood non amg set, which i had to sell, the only pieces i kept and sent to matt was the lower door trim
i had to remove my own cupholder surround, gear surround, side strips, and AC surround
in europe some of the parts in the CF pack came in CF, everything except the cupholder surround and the gear surround, so they got a better deal
the piano black was a pain to keep clean looking, always dust and fingerprints were very visible
there was a previous member who purchased piano black parts direct thru the company that does the CF for mercedes, in german db carbon, and had his done and sent back to him, that way he kept his core. he paid like 2000-3000
his pics attached
my weave pattern is slightly different than genuine but im fine with that....had long detailed discussions with Matt about it...at the end of the day the quality is very good, and im happy with it , at a very good price

if u search for my old threads, there is a thread on instructions , but basically its alot of pulling,....
get something like this
if u dont want to do the cupholder surround, leave it in, and start with the gear surround, open the ash tray, remove the coin holder, stick trim removal pieces under the front and lift up, and pull out
side pieces just pull out,
AC surround is tougher, u need to open the glove box, slide down 2 metal clips, remove the upper trim, with the ac vents, then remove the radio, - 2 screws, that will allow u to access the ac surround screws
its easier than it sounds.......

Easier than it sounds?...I'm already confused even just reading about it.
