2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
It will be worth the wait, one reason I bought a used one is because the wait was so long and I figured when I was ready to order one at least I'd have a E63 Wagon to drive in the meantime. It's really too bad that these cars are just not in stock, I'd think there would be a market for them and they would sell more cars if not for the long wait.

Hey guys,
Thank you for the comments. All I can hope for is that it'll arrive as quickly as possible. I've just got to tough it out because there are reasons why I decided to do a custom order versus simply buying off the lot (a unique color combo being one).
There was a designo Mystic Brown that was just delivered at my local dealer a few weeks ago. It helped cement my decision to get this color as it was my first time seeing it in person up close enough to touch it. I've only seen the color in motion in the past.

Probably the rarest of the rare! I really like that color on the wagon more than on the sedan (saw one in person last month). I was also considering it but decided to go with more classic palladium. Worth the wait!

Yeah- definitely a striking color when it's light out. Too bad I won't be the only one in the city with this color, though.
@kart- I'm just curious- did you see the designo Mystic Brown on an AMG sedan or regular one? Do they still offer Mystic Brown in Canada? I saw that actually for most of the world, including Europe, they only offer four designo options: Mocha Black, Graphite Gray, Alanite Gray (Matte), Cashmere White (Matte) while for the US they still offer the Mystic Brown.
2013 and prior they used to offer more designo options for the E Class including Mystic Red, Mystic Blue, and Mauritius Blue. I've seen the Mauritius Blue on two sedans and it's probably my favorite Benz color due to how bright and unusual it is (in a good way). My second choice is Mystic Blue due to its depth of dark blue and purple depending on the light. It's too bad they got rid of those colors-- if I do a special order designo color that's currently not offered it costs about $8,000-$10,000 more from the factory but it is doable. I've seen a Mars Red E63 for sale at MB Denver that's not offered on that car. The standard MB color ended up being an extra $5,500 for that car!
@jmg I'm keeping the R63- it's just getting another stablemate. It'll be a rare MB Wagon garage!

I guess the car I saw was dolomite Brown. It looks similar to mystic Brown but maybe less metallic? You're right about designo choices in canada; quite conservative!

2015 e63 wagon, tuned B5 S4, 1970 BMW 2002, Toureg(wife's)
Finally!! Got my PO #. Local dealership couldn't get an allocation, or even an estimate of one. So with my salesmans' blessing, went over to Fletcher Jones and they got me a second decade of Sept build. They estimate late Oct early Nov, but with the designo I'm just hoping I pick the car up this year. Here it is.
041 designo graphite
821 black nappa with silver
997 Driver asst package
995 surround view
662 10 spoke titanium
736 black ash wood
Y04 silver belts
867 splitview
still trying to figure out what the iPad dock option is, if anyone knows, please help.
Light on options, but this is all I need. Also, the new 10 spoke silver wheels (797) seem like they are the same as the titanium and black wheels, but silver. It would of been nice, (I guess still possible) to see those 10 spoke SLS wheels on an e63
One downside to all this is my local dealership is still keeping my order in, they seem to like the build too. So that means there will be an exact clone of my car in my town probably sometime in spring of 2015.

The 797 rims have always been available, they just never tell you that in the literature they publish. It's only listed on the dealer's computer when you go in to make a custom order. Those are the same rims as the non S E63 and have been available pre 2014 as well.
And yes you're right, the black and titanium wheels are the exact same rims just a different finish.

It will be a rare MB garage indeed! Congrats on the order, after seeing those pictures I agree, that color will be rare and striking!
Can't wait to see pictures of yours delivered.

Love the build of your new E63 wagon. You know I am an unusual color fan and Mystic Brown is one of my favorites! I think that would be my color choice if I were tempted to order new . . . Looking at the photos from the E63 wagon you posted, I am not sure the grey wheels work with the Mystic Brown - so I think the black finish is a great choice. Did you consider the forged wheel option? That would look really good with the Mystic Brown as well.
Keep us posted as you get closer . . .

I agree that the Titanium wheels don't suit the Mystic Brown paint well. Especially since they got the night package the matte black ones would've looked great.
The Forged Wheels were considered, however, I like the styling of the Black ones better and I think it'll tie in nicely with the black accents on the car.
**some updates**
I've been working with some folks at MB Corporate to do have some out of range options on my car. I asked for a whole load of non US options including 432 dynamic multi contour passenger seat, 581 3 zone climate control, 282 ski bag pass through, 839 laminated safety glass with acoustic film, and 942 easy pack load securing system. Of all those options they approved 839 laminated glass for me, which honestly, is more than I was expecting (expected no for everything).
I'm also inquiring about some special stitching to go with my Mystic Red interior and currently awaiting to hear back from the factory.

More updates-
I've got my response from MB Corporate regarding the special stitching and it's a go. I will now get matching Mystic Red contrast stitching on all four door armrests and the front center armrest. Before, they were black leather with black stitching. Now it's black leather with Mystic Red stitching. It should tie in nicely with the seats and door panel inserts.
They told me to expect an additional six weeks for the special stitching but it's unclear if that is on top of my 6-8 week delay for designo or if it's going to be built into that time. Regardless, I'm quite excited to get some special appointments in this car.
My build sheet will now get updated with PA1 code Custom Order (and the 839).

It's a laminated (2 piece) glass that is glued together with an acoustic membrane in between- similar to what they use in the S-Class. Basically it's like double pane windows for your car for better sound and temperature insulation. It's on all of the glass on the doors and MB says it's supposed to lower noise levels by 10db inside. Cost isn't finalized for me yet but they suspect in the ~$400ish range.

I'm now told from corporate that the custom stitching cannot be done on the E-Class. There was some sort of miscommunication with the factory. I'm quite disappointed by that.
I'm also told that the 839 Laminated Acoustic Safety Glass will now be made a special order option at a cost of around $300 plus one time $250 special order fee. They were supposed to add that for all 15 E-Class but kind of forgot to put it in the DOG until I reminded them of it.

Same style rims but in matte black instead of the standard titanium (matte gray). IMO matte black will work better with the dark brown.
