Baseline drag strip testing - Stock 2013 E63 w/ PP
When i tried with the brake torque -- it seemed like a smoother launch. I think the race start just is a matter of getting the technique mastered... not unlike dumping the clutch on a stick shift...
I brake-torqued the car to 2200 RPM and then let the brake go at the last yellow.
I have a 2wd car though, so 2200RPM could probably be significantly raised for the 4matic cars.
Im pleased with a 1.93 60-ft for the 2wd wagon on Contis @ 30psi.
Also, all of my cars go into S+, not M after RS. Just make sure the wheels are straight, engine temps are good and traction is in Sport.Lenny from RENNtech told me the best way to run the 4matics is to do it in dyno mode. I have not had a chance to try it but, he said it helps to alleviate the torque limitation. Worth a shot

I can try RS again, but it hasnt been very successful in the past. 1.93 or better 60' on Contis show I'm probably doing OK.
I had the original poster by .1 to the 1/8th. He picked up a tenth on the big end, as is evident in his mph. I think that could be the weight of the wagon vs. the sedan working against me.
