Opinions needed on an used '14 E63

So i need you guys input regarding that car?
I know it is a base E63 non S with only driver's assistance package as an option. So no LSD, no extra ponies, not the nicest interior, no fancy wheels, not my favourite color, no pano sunroof. You'll probably tell me to find the one i like but at the moment this is the only '14 E63 in my price range.
Carfax says it was a corporate car. What does that mean? Coming from a rental fleet like hertz or car used by a CEO of a big company? It is not clear where it is coming as the dealer won't have anymore info.
Nevertheless it has 1009 miles and qualifies for any MB offers on new vehicle (like financing/lease/etc...). Looks like they are ready to do whatever it takes to get rid of it... which makes me wondering why?
How can I check if the car is not a lemon? should carfax/autocheck mention it? How much do you think I can lower that asking price?
The more I save on the sale price the more I could put in aftermarket parts (LSD/wheels/CF etc...)
What do you guys think? Is it worth it?

Your current car sure is sweet
My 2 cents..... Have it inspected by 3rd party. While that will signal you are serious you still can low ball them beforehand pending 3rd party. Also, that is a really cheap price for a hell of alot of car. I have panorama and really not that big of deal compared to sunroof. Having a E63s I can tell you that even in break in period the car is unbelievably fast. I cannot imagine the plain E63 would be sensibly slower. Also, Driver assist not worth it. just my 2 cents. Good luck!

I'd want to know if it was in the fleet of the AMGDA. They use the base E63.
Fact of the matter is that the base E63 is not a high demand car. It stickered for $96K and would have sold new for ~$90K.
Driver Assist is a great option. Worth many X the price on the sticker.
Bottom line: I'd want the selling price to start with the number 7. And I'd want it CPOd for the extended protection.

AMG DA is driving academy? I assume it will not be great since these cars are pushed to their limit?
How much would a new '14 E63S go for? $5-10k off MSRP?
Do you think $75k is too low balling on this one?
As well if the car get CPO'ed it means there are no defects therefore a 3rd party inspection isn't necessary?
I appreciate the inputs so far as usual on this forum but my first time on this E63 section

Yes, driving academy. Yes, cars are pushed. But maintained very well, also. Not a deal breaker, just another data point for the decision process.
A new My14 E63S, there should be some heavy discounting. And fleet money available. I would expect 10% to be a good starting point.
If you could get that unit for $75K, then I think you will have scored quite a deal.
CPO process should involve a thorough inspection and reconditioning, if necessary. You would end up with a warranty out to 6 years, unlimited miles... that's where the value resides.

Get the vin and have your local dealer run it in the computer... It'll pull up any Benz work done on this car
With my two e550s, the trans service and replacements showed up on carfax and obviously the Benz service records accessible by anyone
$75k including doc fees and registration but not including tax would be a sweet deal and do-able. If it's a lemon it should show up on the vin or carfax most likely... Make them pay for transport to your state

I'm actually looking to lease that one. So the guy said if he CPO's the car he won't be able to lease it.
Money factor on E63 amg are not great : 0.0026. He is saying there is nothing he can do about it. MB rules.
As for the acquisition fees he is saying $1095 including registration/title etc... I told him I thought it was $795 but he said on the east coast yes but in the midwest it is higher. Is that BS talk right here?
And i asked him about the origination of the car and he said it was not part of AMG DA. I'll run the VIN at my local MB.

Good luck and remember it's under warranty
It's not likely a lemon if the vin and carfax are clear, and if mb records check out
It's still a wicked fast car and for daily driving you won't tell a difference between s-model and non-s. Pano is over rated ... Adds weight, risk of issues with it... I have it and have had sunroofs ...
Tell him $800 acquisition fee and that's that... Let him walk away and he will call u back

It is obviously your decision, but I would not buy a car that was not the colour, and did not have the options, I wanted. I did that very thing twice because a good deal came along, but both times regretted it. My $0.02.

Why not this one?

It's a tough decision not to cancel my order to pick this one up.

I believe an LSD equipped car would also be better in the wet.
Sorry to hi-jack: back to the OP - I think that's a fantastic deal on that car.

ace10, you mentioned fleet money for new 14 E63. How does it work actually?
Do MB dealers get holdback money as well?

There could be trunk money on 2014's at this point. I'm not aware of a way to determine if this is the case, though.

I'm still the hunt for an used 14 E63 and came across a nice loaded white one.
Now I have a technical question regarding the brakes. From the latest service history the tech noted : F/B 8mm R/B 7mm
On these cars what are we starting new from? 11 mm?

Thats the minimum pad thickness on the front. Since all the pads would be changed on one end when the first one goes to "zero", the thinnest pad is noted.
At 30k miles I don't have any pads thicker than 5mm :-/
Because brakes are never covered by a service plan or warrantee, I'm always the guy who has to find the best deal on the pads and rotor and do them myself. There's nothing new in the brake world (except wear sensors, which are straight forward.)
From racingbrake.com, a full set of rotors and pads is $2750. After that, you can buy just the rotors for $750 (front) and $650 (rear) + pads when you go through the first set.

I do the brake job on my C63 so I assume the E63 shouldn't be different. And yes RB have great deals
