My '14 E63S Wagon!
I have a frequent visitor to this site but not a frequent poster. I used to have a C63 which was great (hence the user name, although I ended up getting steel gray).
A few months back my 2014 E63S wagon came in after 6 months in the cue. I got indigo blue with black wheels and love the color combo. Indigo blue is a great color, similar to steel gray but with blue in the paint as well.
I love the car, it is a great family car and crazy fast! I have done a few small mods in the last few months, all of which I really like.
1st mod: debadged "E63" from the back, also debadged the "S" but kept the "AMG" badge - they are actually different parts, and I think it looks much cleaner with just the classic AMG and 3 pointed star on the back.
2nd mod: 20% tint except windshield. It looks good and adds to privacy, particularly in the wagon area:
3rd mod: just did the resonator delete today as several others have done. Special thanks to 335 X-ray for his advice on this one. I was concerned about how loud it would be, worried too loud, but it is great, not too loud at all. Also no drone in the wagon. Sound volume and tone is of course highly subjective but so far I love it!
I am considering doing a Renntech tune, on the fence on that one still. They should published the numbers for the '14 and it is 701hp and over 800lb ft torque. They say the transmission can handle it, hope they are right.
Also posting a picture of the ride. What great cars these are!

It's looking good but we need more photos! Indigo Blue is one of the more rare colors for the E63 Wagon- what color interior did you go with?
20% tint all around is one of the first mods I plan on doing to the car as well. Perhaps also with either a 50 or 70% Crystalline film on the windshield.

Welcome to the wicked wagon club! Yours is quite unique with that color choice. What interior color did you go with? It would look nice with beige interior!

Thanks for all the compliments on the color! I am really pleased with it. Looks a lot like a denim blue color, but sometimes I see a hint of purple in it as well. I debated whether to get night or carbon fiber exterior package but decided to keep the stock matte chrome trim and think it sets off the blue and shiny black trim well. And I love the black wheels, very glad I got them.
Interior got the black with silver stitching and carbon fiber trim. Mercedes has really stepped up their game on interiors since my C63. I also got the 360 camera which I think is great - I can pull up close to a curb without worrying about the front spoiler scraping. Also got the lane keeping assist that lights the triangles for blind spots in the mirrors when a car is there but not the package that actively tries to keep you in your lane. Some marginal use there. And finally got the heated rear seats (only available in wagons in '14 I believe) which the kids love.
More feedback on the resonator delete. When I pulled in my garage at work today, wow did it sound great, nice rumble, aggressive but I don't think it is too much. On the highway also sounds really nice.

Really nice choice on the wagon
As far as the badge I don't know if I would remove them... to each their own.
For sure resonator delete will make that exhaust sound louder. Does it denote the signature AMG bark like in the C63?
Renntech/weistec/alpha to name a few will definitely take care of your power increase needs.

Here is a picture of the back with "E63" and "S" debadged. As you say, to each their own on this type of thing.
In terms of the resonator delete, sound is a little different than the C63, not as good but pretty close. Volume increases to a nice sporty level with the resonator delete, overall a great mod.

Glad you are happy with the resonator delete. I was hesitant but it is really a great mod, essentially like doing a totally new exhaust. It makes me giggle a little sometimes.
Great color too.

For the reso delete, did you connect the 2 straight tubes together with a smaller one in the middle or just 2 separate straight tubes ?

I just had two separate straight 3.00" stainless steel pipes installed where the resonator had been. I looked at the old resonator I took off and as some had described it is two straight pipes with perforations in it that lead into the enclosed box that surrounds the two pipes and also a small H pipe piece that connects the two pipes. As for warranty, can't say for sure until there is a problem, but unlikely to affect warranty.

I will never de-badge.
