Hot Wagon delivered

Finally took delivery 2 days ago, wants to post some preview pics and timeline for future reference.

June 14, Order placed (took over dealer's order with build date of June 11)

July 14, Production date (build was delayed for a month, possibly due to design piano black interior trim)

July 24, Loaded on vessel

Aug 8, landed in Halifax, NS

Aug 11 or 12, loaded on train heading Vancouver

Aug 22, train arrived in Vancouver and unloaded

Aug 28, discharged by WWL and truck delivered to dealer

Aug 29, took delivery

Special thanks to Beny for helping me track my car while it was on the train, such a great guy.

A few pics to share for now, will do some formal shots with my buddy when his wagon is back in town. Wagon owners in Vancouver give me a shout, I have seen only a few on the road, we could do a meet or something.

Went to sign the paper work the day when it arrived at the dealer, saw my car was parked in the corner on my way out. So excited and jumped out to take a few pics

Next day, car was ready and parked outside the showroom. Quickly sign the remaining paper and insurance, could not wait any more to drive my hot wagon. New car seat installed so my kid is happy as well

Yes
Beautiful! Do the door pins come stock or did you need to install them yourself/have the dealer install?

Congrats. This car will amaze you in every way possible.

I love each entry ramp onto hwy! Took spin out to City Island yesterday (mistake) with the family. Getting home the entry ramp back onto the Hutch is from dead stop... sweetness in this car. Even my wife was amazed at how calm the car handled getting to 60mph with traffic.

Enjoy your wolf in sheep's clothing.

Congrats! Good luck with the "break in"

You now have (by many estimates, including mine) the ultimate automobile.

It's an impression that lasts.

If I ordered a new one, it would probably also be in white. Its a beautiful color.

Same question. Did you buy the door pins and valve caps separately or did they come from factory as an option?

Door Pins and Valve Caps are always (as of this writing) added on separately. Both are available as an OEM accessory through your parts counter.

I bought door pins from mbonlineparts.com, cheeaper than the dealer. Delaer installed them for me for free as it only took about 5 mins. No need to remove rear door panel as mentioned in some threads, straight plug out and snap the new one on for the rear part.
Valve caps brought from dealer on deliver date for only $18, better than the stock ones.
macarbon red engine star button and Edition 1 red wheel centre caps are on the way, dechrome to gloss black, black out badges and window tint are coming next
