I'm curious, what are some things you utilize in the E that you never had in the C? IE, what are some cool features, gadgets, functions, configs etc that you appreciate having now that you didn't have before?

AWD, HP etc obviously, looking for more specific things like the E has some auto headlight function or MB apps or something that wasn't available in the C63 that you find especially cool.

I didn't come from a C63 but these are a few features off the top of my head that the E63 has (or is available as an option) while the C63 (W204) doesn't. (US spec applicable only)

E63 standard features not available on the C63:
Full LED headlights
MB Tex wrapped upper dashboard and upper door panels
Power trunk with kick open/close feature
Power folding mirrors (2015 E only, only the first couple models years was this available on the C63 in the US)
Adjustable suspension settings
AMG button to save ESP, Suspension, and Transmission settings
Ventilated front seats
Active Multicontour driver seat
Dinamica (similar to Alcantara) headliner and ABC(D) Pillars (Wagon only)

E63 options not available on the C63:
Heated rear seats
Carbon Ceramic Brakes
designo paint, interior, trim
CF exterior pack
360 degree camera
Splitview
Rear side shades
Rear seat entertainment
B&O Sound System

Turbos

Can a C63 be purchased with Distronic+ or SurroundView?

Those are my two favorite-favorite features, followed by the massage-seat function and the ventilated seats (as wimpy as the ventilation is). They seem like gimmicks on the option page, but I use the %^&$ out of them.

There's nothing like being in bumper-bumper traffic letting the car drive while it gives you a massage, cools off your privates, and plays your favorite song at volume in decent fidelity. Seriously.

I compared the two for quite awhile and I was impressed at how much more refined the E felt.

Yes the facelift C63 can be bought with distronic but not the surround view.

Interesting... I thought distronic sounded really gimmicky when I ordered, so I stayed away... But that's a compelling argument for it.

My list would be AWD for sure, the seats are much better, trunk close button and kick feature, B&O is fantastic, start/stop and lastly the adjustable rear suspension.

Cant really speak to the AMG specifically but i went from a C300 to a E550 and Distronic is the BEST thing I've ever had on a car. Toss in the dynamic driver seat and cooling, any car im ever in that dosent have these just feels lacking.

Keep in mind the Distronic Plus option in the C63 is different than the E63. E63 has a few extra goodies that I mentioned in my previous post.

I can't stand the dynamic seat. I just tighten the bolsters to where I want them and keep them there. I do like the adjustable bolsters which my gen 1 C63 did not have... when I am in a suit I don't like a lot of pressure vs. shorts and T and I do.

Surround View - would haven't ordered it but the car I bought has it and I love it, will definitely try to get it on next car.
Auto High Beams - use every morning and they work pretty well, so, I like this feature too.
Cooled seats - not very impressed with this feature, wish they worked better.
Auto-close trunk - it's cool but feel like a lazy slug using it which usually doesn't stop me.
Dynamic seats - like them quite a bit, a cool feature.
Auto-hold brakes - love this feature too
Rear tires might actually last more than 5k miles!
Pano roof - have it but don't really care about it.
Comfort box is pretty cool.

I loved the C63, but I have to say the E63 is on a whole different level. I love it more ... but of course I wish i had both.

I don't have my E63 yet but things I am most looking forward to are 4matic, carbon ceramic brakes, and the power gain from a tune/downpipes.

I think the thing I will miss most about the C63 is the sound, very few things sound as awesome as a C63 with headers and no cats turning 7200 rpm. Plus the rev happy nature and throttle response of the M156. And since I'm not really a fan of sedans I am going to miss having a coupe.

What color on your order?
Will you part out the C63?
For sure exhaust will be a big miss. But I guess you could work something out with downpipes/resonator delete

Cardinal Red

Yes when I get word that my car is built I am planning to put the C63 back to stock. Though I'm getting word now that the rear heated seats may be causing a delay in production

I'm planning to start with a tune with catless downpipes see how it sounds and go from there

Picked it up yesterday, love it so far.

Good stuff on here, im sure there are little features here and there that I'm not aware of, looking for those. A few things I'm enjoying outside of the obvious - drivers assistance pkg is very cool. Compartment for storage under the front seats are very useful. The steering is much easier than the C, not good or bad, kind of nice, just an observation. Guess it's electric. AC is cold much quicker and all the comfort features are awesome.

I think the dynamic dynamite CHASIS of the E is the biggest thing of all if you watch enough German MB propaganda about them....the English voiceover on the youtube MB videos is hilarious and so serious

Drove a 2012 C63 P1 for 3 years and just got into my 14 E63S...The seats and cabin size make a huge difference. After a while those bucket seats became uncomfortable. The 360 camera (option) is really cool but overall the car feels much sturdier at high speeds.
