I've never thought that the 577 horsepower pumped out by the E63 AMG S-Model is not enough. Apparently, the guys over at Vath tuning have, and figure the car needs a 28-percent boost.

So for $30,000 it goes to 740/747....I can get a renntech that does 700/850 for $3,000.00

$100,000 (or more) MB E63-S wagon
+ $30,000 for Vath Tuning kit
-----------
$130,000
again, what am I missing .. this is a $30,000 upgrade that doesn't seem that much more special than the Renntech or AMS tune that are only 10% of this cost, at $3000.00
lol, whatever

The Vath package is a poor value. It includes a turbo upgrade but only really makes horsepower levels on par with full Renntech or AMS tune and bolt on mods and is far short of their 830-839 tune only torque levels. Looks like they had issues defeating the car's torque limiters.
For about $25k with all recommended mods and labor, the Renntech turbo upgrade on the car is 833 Bhp and 980 lbs-ft -- far far in excess of the power levels in the Vath turbo upgrade car.
To me, buying Vath = owner takes a bath.

I think there have been a number of demonstrations by various vendors that modding the car goes something like this-
+125hp $3000-6000
+175hp $15,000-27,000
+225hp+ (if you need to know, you can't afford it...)
